procedures look into this system. “It is user friendly,” he said. “All of us… have a lot of experience at this point using navigation devices of some kind, and the robot is another one of those.”
The ROSA surgical robot system was launched by Medtech Innovative Surgical Technology, a French company, in 2009 and was cleared by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration for brain procedures in the same year. There are 17 facilities in the United States with this robot.
