Learn how your business may qualify for up to $525,000* per year in rebates and incentives under the Express

Efficiency and Business Energy Efficiency Programs. The Gas CompanySM introduces new and expanded 2006

-2008 Energy Efficiency Programs. Energy efficiency programs help customers collectively save millions of

dollars in energy costs every year. Businesses of various sizes and industries can take advantage of bottom-line

benefits. We also offer energy efficiency training seminars and energy-related design assista.nce.

EXPRESS EFFICIENCY REBATES

Express Efficiency - Rebates up to $200,000 (per customer, per year)

The Express Efficiency Rebates program provides qualifying businesses cash rebates to offset the cost of identified new, energy-efficient equipment. Rebates are available for installing energy-saving commercial and industrial natural gas equipment that meet program requirements such as:

• Commercial and Industrial Boilers • Water Heaters • Pipe and Tank Insulation • Greenhouse Curtains

• Pool Heaters • steam Traps • Much More

BUSINESS ENERGY EFFICIENCY PROGRAMS (BEEP)

Process Equipment Replacement (PER) - Incentives up to $25,000 (per customer, per year)**

Equipment replacement program. Program provides incentives to qualified customers for installing new energy-efficient equipment.

Custom Process Improvement (CPI) - Incentives up to $25,000 (per customer, per year)**

Save therms through process changes. Program provides incentives for a wide range of custom efficiency measures designed to reduce energy consumption.

Efficient Equipment Rebate (EER) - Rebates up to $25,000 (per customer, per year)**

Commercial Food Service Rebate Program. Program offers rebates to qualified customers on qualified food service and commercial/industrial equipment. For a complete list of qualified gas equipment, please visit

• Pressureless steamers • Fryers • Combination Ovens • Convection Ovens • Griddles • Much More

Energy Efficiency Grant Program (EEGP) - Incentives up to $300,000 (per customer, per year)

Progam provides financial incentives to qualified customers for qualifying retrofit projects. Customers develop and submit innovative and varied strategies to reduce therm usage at their facilities.

Recognition Program

Program provides non-monetary recognition for business customers who implement suggested energy efficiency measures not captured within The Gas Company's rebate/financial incentive programs.

* Maximum per qualified customer, per year, rebates and incentives of $525,000 calculated as follows: Express Efficiency Rebate (EER) $200,000, plus Business Energy Efficiency Programs (PER/CPI/EER) $25,000, plus Energy Efficiency Grant Program (EEGP) $300,000.

**Total PER/CPI/EER incentive available is $25,000 per customer, per year.

These programs are funded by California utility customers and administered by the State's investor-owned utilities, under the auspices of the California Public Utilities Commission. These programs may be modified or terminated without prior notice. Program funds are provided to qualified customers on a first-come, first-served basis until program funds are no longer available. Eligibility requirements apply.

SBE$C is funded by California utility customers and administered by Southern California Gas Company and Southern California Edison, in collaboration with South Bay Cities Council of Governments (SBCCOG), under the auspices of the California Public Utilities Commission through a contract awarded to SBCCOG.
