ALL MATERIAL FALLING ON THE AREA BELOW AND ADJACENT TO THE BRIDGE SHALL BE REMOVED AND ADEQUATE PROTECTION IS PROVIDED.
ADEQUATE PROTECTIVE DEVICES ARE NOT BEING EMPLOYED, THE WORK SHALL BE SUSPENDED UNTIL PROTECTIVE DEVICES SHALL BE USED TO CATCH THE MATERIAL. IF THE ENGINEER DETERMINES THAT SPECIFICALLY PERMIT THE DROPPING OF MATERIAL. PLATFORMS, NETS, SCREENS OR OTHER DEBRIS AND OTHER MATERIAL TO THE AREA BELOW THE BRIDGE EXCEPT WHERE THE PLANS DURING REMOVAL OPERATIONS, THE CONTRACTOR SHALL NOT BE ALLOWED TO DROP WASTE CONCRETE, UNIT PRICES BID FOR THOSE ITEMS.
OF SUPPLYING A DISPOSAL AREA AND TRANSPORTATION TO THAT AREA SHALL BE INCLUDED IN THE WHENEVER ITEMS IN THE CONTRACT REQUIRE MATERIALS TO BE REMOVED AND DISPOSED OF, THE COST IN A MANNER SATISFACTORY TO THE ENGINEER AT THE EXPENSE OF THE CONTRACTOR.

AMTRAK C&S PERSONNEL MUST FIELD-VERIFY THAT THERE IS NO SIGNAL EQUIPMENT IN THE WAY OF TEMPORARY STRUCTURES, FORMWORK, EQUIPMENT, ETC. MUST COMPLY DURING CONSTRUCTION. AMTRAK PROPERTY MUST SHOW THAT THERE IS ADEQUATE SIGNAL PREVIEW. IN ADDITION, ALL SIGNAL PREVIEW MUST NOT BE OBSTRUCTED. CONSULTANTS PERFORMING WORK FOR AMTRAK OR ON CAN INTERFERE WITH THE PROPER SHUNTING SENSITIVITY OF THE TRACK CIRCUIT.
RAILS MUST BE PROTECTED AGAINST DEBRIS. RUST, SAND, METAL SHAVINGS OR OTHER MATERIAL THAT THE RAILROAD NOTES IN THE PROJECT MANAUAL.
