Faircity is a vibrant and progressive hotel group specialising in owning, managing and co-developing hotels in Southern Africa. Their primary service offering is business and conference hotels, as well as serviced apartments.
The hotel group was started by a couple of energetic entrepreneurs that were not afraid to take chances.

Feb 2017: The InterContinental Hotels Group
(IHG)
has announced, in partnership with Leisure Hotel Holding (Pty) Ltd,
the signing of the first Holiday Inn Cape Town. Currently operating as Strand Tower Hotel, the property is expected to be rebranded as Holiday Inn later this year.
The signing is in line with IHG's strategy to increase its brand's visibility and franchise estate in South Africa.

It is a fact that Black and white Newsletter copies do not always depict the true image quality. To stimulate participation of club auctions, ATA will at random provide one-two lucky postal member per month with a colour Newsletter.
The electronic Newsletters are in colour already so there should not be an issue i.t.o. picture quality.

Henrica (Ricky) has had a real tough 2018 so far, she has been in and out of Hospital for the past few months and her healing process is taking long. We wish Ricky all the best well wishes and hope to see here back soon at club meetings.

ATA has been instrumental over the last few months to auction off much of Koos Van Rensburg collection to assist Pat Van Rensburg with Lawyer fees to wrap up his Estate. Pat Van Rensburg has been overwhelmed by the support and financial contribution.
To each ATA member who has contributed to this cause, we thank you on behalf of Pat Van Rensburg. Special word of thanks to Monique Salmon (France member) who also took much
of the stock to Europe for resale.
There is still some reasonably scarce phonecards available and should you want to fill a gap in your collection, please send your want list to Warwick (warwick@telkomsa.net). Maybe even start a new theme or Country or expand to collect Expiry Dates per phonecard.
Furthermore, ATA also has a lot of stock, so the onus is on
YOU
to spend some time on your collection and send your want lists to ATA. Spring is upon majority of our members so get into the spirt of collecting, brush off the cobwebs and get involved.
ATA encourages members to be creative and submit suggestions to stimulate the hobby or make it more fun.
