• Master of Science

Students pursuing a Master of Science degree are required to complete a minimum of 9 credits and a maximum of 18 credits of course work and submit a thesis at the end of the programme of study. It is advisable that the student discusses the number of credits with his/her advisor.

Students pursuing the Doctor of Philosophy degree are required to complete a minimum of 12 credits in addition to the following courses:

ADMISSION

REQUIREMENTS

Master of Education (M.Ed.)

Applicants must have:

• A Bachelor degree in a related area from universities recognised by Universiti Putra Malaysia with cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of not less than 3.00.

• Candidates applying for Master of Education in Guidance & Counselling and Teaching of English as a First Language (TESL) must pass an interview conducted by the Faculty.

Doctor of Philosophy (Ph. D.)

Applicants must have:

• A Master degree in a related area from universities recognised by Universiti Putra Malaysia.

• Candidates applying for a Ph.D in Guidance & Counselling and Teaching of English as a First Language (TESL) at the Faculty of Educational Studies must pass an interview conducted by the Faculty.
