Her religious upbringing sustained and served her throughout her life. While a member at The Fountain of Praise she was in the Agape Zone and the New Members Orientation.

While in college she met her future husband Kevin Dillard (at Drew Hall), they later married on August 30, 1986. To this union they had two children, Quincy (deceased) and Quinton Gerrard Dillard (surviving twin). They later divorced but remained a united front for all occasions in raising their son and in being there for each other’s needs.

Mataline had a stellar high school career. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Lincoln High School where she was a member of the National Honor Society, Junior Engineering Technical Society, Future Business Leaders of America to name a few. Words of Comfort Minister, The Fountain of Praise

Mom, I want you to know you are the best mom a son could ever have.

You taught me everything I needed to know, but most importantly to “put God first”. I’m glad you don’t have to take any medicine anymore. Me and Pop will continue to carry on your legacy with pride and grace. I will miss talking to you and being in your loving arms.

Love ❤ Mom, Quinton Mataline

First I’m sorry for every disappointment. I want to thank you for making me a father and giving me the best gift I ever had…our son Quinton. Over the years we came together as a team to provide every need for our son. You know we always said we have the perfect child even with his challenges. He’s smart, he’s respectful, he’s gentle, he’s courageous, he’s thankful and he’s appreciative. He’s creative and he’s funny…(I can’t tell everyone the last joke we shared about him because we are in church) you know…I know...Fran knows. He loves to shop at Marshalls, TJ Maxx, and the RS store, too (Ross).

Quinton got all of that from you. Mat you helped me see things in him I never thought possible —

like learning to read and his desire to drive a car.

I will continue to help him with his goals. I also want to thank you for bringing Mr. Jimmy Glass into his life (Best Buds).

You know you said something that really touched me a while back…you said… “I may never get to see my son again.” I did my best…we made it happen. God fixed it where Quinton was able to spend some quality time with you during your last days. Rest assured I will always be there for him. I will always protect your treasure—our son Quinton. He will walk again with your continued help! Matter of fact he already is. Rest you deserve it, you earned.

Mat,You know that I loved you with all my heart. You were my sister, my confidant, my best friend. Now you are my angel. Memories will last forever. Rest in peace.

Alvin Kevin
