WELCOME TO ONE TOURNAMENT!

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT:

One Tournament offers high quality, accessible competitions to players and coaches who want a one-off sporting experience that they can look forward to and to look back on with fond memories in the years to come and 2022 looks set to be another great year.

Since we launched One Tournament back in 2016 we have seen over 20,000 players attend our events, with players aged 5 to 76 clocking up minutes with us. 50% of teams that attends our tournaments have

attended more than once.

Every one of our staff is a football coach

who has run a grassroots football team so

we know how to make a special day for

everyone attending.

EXPERIENCE

This year we will be running 3 types of tournaments for girls and boys including our brand 11v11 Nationals called 'The One' See below for more details

ONE TOURNAMENT NATIONALS

THE ONE 11V11 NATIONALS

Played at St. George’s Park National Football Centre for U8 to U11. No qualification is necessary just book on and join us.

A regional grassroots competition for U7 to U12 boys and U9 to U12 girls.

Teams from each region progress to the National Grand Finals.

A NEW 11v11 National

tournament for U13 to U15s

boys and girls. Played on A-

grade grass pitches with 3

officials on each pitch

against teams from all over

the UK.

The popular One Tournament Nationals for boys and girls will be taking place at 3 fantastic football venues that will accommodate teams from all over the UK. Each venue is within a 2-hour drive of 70% of the country, making sure that the majority of teams can get to and from the tournament on the same day.

The One Tournament Nationals gives like minded teams the opportunity to test themselves against teams from across the region with the chance to take their place at the National Finals on the 17th or 18th of JULY where team one team from each age group will be crowned One Tournament National Champions.

Each venue is within a 2-hour drive from 70% of grassroots football clubs across the county making sure teams from across the UK have the opportunity to compete at this prestigious tournament with the opportunity to win a FREE place at the National Finals on 17th or 18th of July

This year we will be running tournaments in the following age groups – Boys U7, U8, U9, U10, U11 and U12 and girls U9, U10, U11 and U12 in the One Tournament National Regional Qualifiers

10 different Premier League clubs sent scouts to attend our events in 2021

The finalists (2 teams) in each age group from each region will progress to the National Finals.

All teams must be affiliated to their County Football Association and have a valid FA affiliation number.

Players that are currently signed with an FA Premier League or Football League Academy in the 21/22 season are not permitted to play in One Tournament events.

Our tournament ensure that there is very little time waiting around between matches and all teams are guaranteed a minimum of 60 minutes of match time at all of our events

THE ONE 11V11 NATIONALS

The One 11v11 Nationals is a brand new event for U13, U14 and U15 boys teams and U13 and U15 girls teams. Taking place at Lilleshall National Sports Centre this tournament will provide boys and girls with the opportunity to play teams from across the UK on A Grade grass football pitches, with 3 officials on each pitch to create that big-game experience.

THE ONE - 11V11 NATIONALS

Tournaments last between 4 and 5 hours with all fixtures and knock out stages and finals being played on the same day at the same venue.

This year we will be running tournaments for boys and girls aged 12 to 14 in our U13s to U15s age groups.

All teams must be affiliated to their County Football Association and have a valid FA affiliation number.

Players that are currently signed with an FA Premier League or Football League Academy are not permitted to play in One

Tournament events .

USEFUL INFORMATION

Games will be 25 minutes straight through.

Details will be sent to team managers once teams are booked on.

All players that attend the One Tournament England Experience will receive a bespoke One Tournament participation medal with the winners of all

tournaments receiving winners trophies .

Light snacks and refreshments are available at the football pitches, but we would advise all players to bring water, soft drinks and packed lunch/snacks on the day.

Our tournament ensures that there is very little time waiting around between matches and all teams are guaranteed a

minimum of 100 minutes match time on the day.

Tournament formats will be 16 teams in groups of 4, after a round robin the top team in each group will go through to the category one knock outs, semi final, followed by the final, the winner will be crowned National One Tournament Champion.

Teams finishing 2nd, 3rd, and 4th in their group will also follow the same format of semi final ,final and play for a trophy against similar ability teams.

ONE TOURNAMENT ENGLAND

EXPERIENCE

The One Tournament England Experience is a one-day tournament for teams that want to play at St. George’s Park National Football Centre without having to qualify. Due to our smart scheduling software it’s suitable for all ability levels.

We have always felt that players of all ages and abilities should have the opportunity to play at St. George's Park National Football Centre and have loved seeing so many teams join us every year to play at the same venue as the National England Football Teams.

This year we will be running tournaments for

players aged 7 to 10 in our U8 to U11 age groups

where you will get the opportunity to play against

teams from all over the UK.

Depending on availability we will offer teams the chance to book a tour of St George’s Park. Tour’s give you and your players a unique chance to go behind-the- scenes at The FA's National Football Centre.

Light snacks and refreshments are available at the football pitches, but we would advise all players to bring water, soft drinks and packed lunch/snacks on the day rather than relying on what is available at the venue.

Our tournament ensures that there is very little time waiting around between matches and all teams are guaranteed a minimum of 1 hour match time at all of our events

Tournament formats will vary between age groups. Details will be sent to team managers once teams are booked on.

We run Cup and Plate

competitions in most age groups.

We also run a Shield competition in the younger age groups to ensure that all teams find a competitive level on the day of their event

We offer teams the opportunity to book and pay a 40% deposit and pay the remaining balance within 40 days. That means some parents might have to pay between £6 -15 to get booked on and

£8 -15 the following month. * Depending on squad size and the tournament you book..

We love to capture the day at all of our events and this is why we get professional

photographers along to take photos on the day.

Our professional photography team is on hand to capture the day, taking team photos, individual action shots and more importantly that shot of teams lifting the cup when they are celebrating their well earned victory.

We also try to film matches live on the day that

can be viewed on our social media channels

and for teams that want to capture the day and

watch it back in years to come we offer a “film

my match” service that can be booked once

teams have booked on.
