4 FxPro Corporate Brand Guidelines

All Marketing-related communications must include an appropriate risk warning.

Short descriptor

When you need a short, concise company description please use:

‘FxPro was founded in 2006 with a vision to become a major player in the retail forex market. In under a decade we have become one of the largest and most infl uential FX brokers in the world.

FxPro caters to retail and institutional clients, offering contracts for difference on currency pairs, precious metals, shares, as well as futures on indices and com-modities. As our volumes have increased we have built solid relationships with more liquidity providers and have been able to secure increasingly competi-tive prices, which we always pass on to our clients.’

Risk Descriptors

Please use the following risk descriptors when appropriate. Contact the compliance department for further information:

Medium risk warning:

CFDs, which are leveraged products, incur a high level of risk and can result in the loss of all your invest-ed capital. Therefore, CFDs may not be suitable for all investors. You should not risk more than you are prepared to lose. Before deciding to trade, please ensure you understand the risks involved and take into account your level of experience.

Long risk warning:

‘Risk Warning: Contracts for Difference (‘CFDs’) are complex financial products that are traded on margin. Trading CFDs carries a high level of risk since leverage can work both to your advantage and disadvan-tage. As a result, CFDs may not be suitable for all investors because you may lose all of your invested capital. You should not risk more than you are prepared to lose. Before deciding to trade, you need to ensure that you understand the risks involved, taking into account your investment objectives and level of experience. Past performance of CFDs is not a reliable indicator of future results. Most CFDs have no set maturity date. Hence, a CFD position matures on the date you choose to close an existing open position. Seek independent advice if necessary. Please read FxPro’s full ‘Risk Disclosure Statement’.’

Short risk warning:

‘Risk warning: Trading CFDs involves significant risk of loss.’

All presentations need to be signed off by the Compli-ance department before sending to Third-Paties.

Our logo is our brand ambassador. It represents FxPro inter-nally and exterinter-nally. Instantly recognisable, the FxPro logo is a valuable asset that must be used consistently. Adherence to our guidelines for logo usage is of paramount importance.

Plain white background Slogan

Tab box Logotype

Standard Official logo

The FxPro core logo comprises two inseparable components: the ‘FxPro’ logotype and slogan, ‘Trade Forex Like a Pro’. These two items are indeli-bly linked the relative sizes and positions of the logotype and slogan are fixed and must not be altered. The logotype and slogan are fixed creative assets and are not to be recreated or typeset in an alternative font or manner. All elements of the logo that may be required must be obtained from approved sources.

Note: Only in the event that local financial services regulation stipulates otherwise, our core logo and its slogan should always be presented together. In such an event the FxPro marketing department should be contacted to provide assistance.

Our logo can be downloaded from our Marketing Portal: http://www.fxpro.co.uk/marketing

(10)

On these occasions, the usage of the white FxPro logotype and slogan are to be used without any tab box. The red tab box is the only tab box colour that can be used with the FxPro logo and slogan. The red tab box is always to be used on all plain white backgrounds and image backgrounds to create a strong contrast. In the case that solid dark-colour backgrounds or any colours apart from white are being used, the logotype and slogan can be used without the red tab box. However the red tab box is always recommended as a first option. In these circumstances, only the white logotype and slogan can be used. Always ensure the appropriate original elements of the logo are used.

The FxPro brand mark should only ever appear in white type – unless approval by the marketing department is given before master artwork is provided.

The FxPro red tab box is a widely recognised and is a major part of the FxPro logo, every attempt should be made to use it in any and all communication. Only on such occasions where either background colours, colour limitations or other such restrictions exist, can the red tab box be removed (e.g. when a red background is used. )

As a general rule, the width of the FxPro brand mark tab box should be:

a maximum 30% of the width of the shortest side of the design canvas

and a minimum 22% of the width of the shortest side of the design canvas
