Transportation Improvement Program

Six-year TIP required by state law (updated annually) and to apply for state and

federal grants

Intended to be an implementation document rather than list of long-range

planning needs

Provides a list of projects to be programed for development during the six-year

period

Not a policymaking document; it should reflect policy created through the TSP

and other planning processes

It will help to understand and inform how a more in-depth

Due to this being an interim process, only funded and partially

funded projects were put through the scoring process

Unfunded projects will be scored as part of the more in-depth

prioritization process developed through the Transportation

System Plan update
