"Pain Managment in Long Term Acute Care" (Planning)

The purpose of the proposed pilot study is to provide a baseline assessment of provider and patient perspectives on pain management in an Long Term Acute Care (LTAC) healthcare facility.

Research Aims:

1. To describe the staff nurses knowledge and attitude toward pain management. 2. To describe the pain experience of patients within an LTAC.

3. Chart reviews to describe the pharmacological pain management regimens
