Guidelines

 

**Crawford County graduates or specified high school   

**Larry E. Beabout Jr. Scholarship Fund ‐ A $500 Scholarship when funds are available to a full‐time LTC sophomore making  satisfactory progress with at least a 2.0 GPA during freshman year. Must be a Crawford County graduate who plans to attain a  bachelor’s degree. 

 

Richard Bollinger Baseball Scholarship ‐ $1,000 scholarship awarded annually to a Lincoln Trail College baseball player who is  making satisfactory progress. Deadline is June 15. 

 

**Norma Carder Memorial Scholarship ‐ A $1,000 scholarship awarded to a full‐time business or education major who is a 

Crawford County graduate. Established by the Crawford County Development Association.   

**Jerry D. Carey Memorial Scholarship Fund ‐ One or two $500 scholarships per year to full‐time students from Crawford  County making satisfactory progress, with preference given to Hutsonville High School graduates. 

 

Carpenters Local 347 Scholarship ‐ One $500 scholarship, when funds are sufficient, to children or step‐children of a member in  good standing of Carpenters Local 347. Must be full‐time student making satisfactory progress. 

 

Kathryn A Duncan Sports Scholarship ‐ Scholarship awarded annually to an athlete making satisfactory progress. Income  generated determines scholarship amount. Deadline is June 15. 

 

First Robinson Savings Bank Scholarship ‐ A $1,000 scholarship to a full‐time athlete playing baseball at LTC.   

Alberta Trousdale Eagleton Scholarship Fund ‐ Variable scholarships and amounts will be awarded to full‐time LTC students  maintaining at least a 2.00 GPA who are enrolled in English 1121 or a literature class each semester while receiving award. ($500 ‐  $3,000) 

 

Hershey Scholarship ‐ One $500 scholarship to a full‐time student with 2.00 GPA in any area of study.    One $500 scholarship to a  full‐time student with 2.00 GPA in manufacturing related programs. 

 

Brant W. Hill Memorial Scholarship ‐ $750 scholarship awarded annually to a business transfer student making satisfactory  progress. Student plans to enter a career in business or accounting. 

 

**Hutsonville Chamber of Commerce ‐ A $300 scholarship to a graduate of Hutsonville High School who is attending Lincoln  Trail College full‐time and making satisfactory progress. 

 

Doug and Janice C. Kincaid Scholarship Fund ‐ Variable amount scholarships are available for either full time or part‐time  students attending Lincoln Trail College. The amount of the award will be based on need. A letter outlining the goals of the student  along with information indicating need is required. Minimum amount of the award is $1000.00 for the academic year. 

 

William G. Little & Myrtle Little Memorial Scholarship ‐ A variable amount scholarship for a deserving LTC student who wants  to enter a career in teaching. Recipient will be enrolled in a transfer degree program at LTC. 

 

Roy Midgett Memorial Scholarship ‐ A $500 scholarship from the Flat Rock Masonic Lodge #348 to a Lincoln Trail College full‐ or  part‐time student. A Mason recommendation with signature must accompany a completed application.

Ivan and Mary Lou Miller Scholarships ‐ Several scholarships are available to LTC transfer students who are making satisfactory  progress. 

 

Parker‐Ragon Athletic Scholarships ‐ Scholarships awarded to LTC female athletes who are making satisfactory progress.  Amount of scholarship determined by income generated.  Deadline is June 15. 

 

Plumbers & Steamfitters Local #157 Members Memorial Scholarship Fund ‐ One $1,000 scholarship awarded to a student  who will be enrolled in at least six semester hours of credit at LTC. Applicant must possess a minimum “B” GPA and be a member of  Plumbers & Steamfitters Local #157 or their legal spouse, child, or grandchild. Needs to be in good standing and demonstrating  financial need. 

 

Dwight E. & Helen J. Prince Memorial Scholarship ‐ A $500 scholarship awarded annually to a full‐ or part‐time LTC student  interested in pursuing a degree in either Accounting or Art. Students must register in either an Accounting or Art Course and must  demonstrate financial need. 

 

** Robinson Kiwanis Club Foundation, Inc. ‐ One $500 scholarship to a Robinson High School graduate, with preference to a  Key Club member. 

 

**Robinson Rotary Club Scholarship ‐ A $500 scholarship to a Lincoln Trail College full‐time student who is a Robinson High  School graduate, with preference to an Interact Club member. 

 

**Robert L. Rogers Memorial Scholarship ‐ One $500 scholarship, when earnings are sufficient, will be awarded to a deserving  Oblong High School graduate who is enrolled full‐time at LTC and making satisfactory progress. 

 

**Kelly Slunaker & Mildred (Shaw) Slunaker Memorial Scholarship Fund ‐ A scholarship will be awarded to a deserving full‐ time LTC student; who, in the opinion of the Foundation Scholarship Committee has financial need. The student must be from  Crawford County, Illinois. The amount of the award is dependent on the income available. 

 

Joann Strange Scholarship ‐ Variable scholarships in amounts ranging from $500 to $1,000 will be awarded to full‐time LTC  students. 

 

Marion Thompson Memorial Scholarship ‐ A $500 scholarship from the Flat Rock Masonic Lodge # 348 to a Lincoln Trail College  full‐ or part‐time student. A Mason recommendation with signature must accompany a completed application.

Evans – Kuebler Performing Arts Scholarship ‐ When funds are available, one $1,000 or two $500 scholarships to be awarded  to full‐time students who are enrolled in a music or drama class. 

Frankie & Garland Flick Music Fund ‐ $500 scholarships will be awarded, when funds are available, to deserving music majors.  Deadline is June 15. 

 

**Juanita Peters Music Scholarship ‐ A $500.00 scholarship to a full‐time music major. Must maintain a “B” or higher GPA in  high school and show financial need.

**Jonathon Acree ‐ A $500 scholarship for any Robinson High School graduate who is interested in pursuing an occupational  degree at Lincoln Trail College.

Doris Elliott Nursing Scholarship ‐ A $300.00 scholarship to a non‐traditional nursing student and a $200.00 scholarship to a non‐ traditional practical nursing student. 

 

Evelyn Harmon Nursing Scholarship ‐ A $500 scholarship to a full‐time LTC student enrolled in the nursing program.   

Illinois Health Improvement Association Scholarship ‐ One to six $500.00 scholarships awarded, when funds are available, to  Illinois residents enrolled in a health care program that provides direct medical care to individuals. 

 

**Doc & Dorothy Inboden Nursing Scholarship ‐ $750 for one or two nursing scholarships (or other medical‐related programs).  Must be a Crawford County graduate enrolled full‐time at LTC. Must maintain at least a B average and show financial need. 

 

Opiela Family Nursing Scholarship ‐ A variable scholarship awarded annually to a nursing or pre‐nursing student. Student may be  enrolled full‐ or part‐time. Recipient must earn at least a 2.00 GPA or better to maintain the scholarship. 

 

Regions Bank Scholarship ‐ A $500.00 scholarship to a LTC part‐time, non‐traditional student.   

Rural King Scholarship ‐ A $500 scholarship is available to a non‐traditional student enrolled in a Lincoln Trail College  vocational/technical program. 

 

Rural King Welding Scholarship ‐ A $500 scholarship awarded to a full‐ or part‐time student enrolled in the LTC welding program.
