Our position as an independent consultant is supported by our freedom to develop in the appropriate technology for any given client project. We do not restrict
development to a few chosen technologies, forcing all projects to fit into one of a
limited number of solutions.
Our developers are high achieving Computer Science graduates who are all on a managed path to achieving Chartered status with the British Computer Society.
Core Development Technology Expertise:
• LAMP. We have decades of experience in all elements of PHP development of
Linux servers using all flavours of SQL databases. We have built web applications
that are in daily use by multinational businesses and websites that are generating
significant seven and eight figure revenues for their owners. LAMP development is a
core development and consultancy expertise area for us.
• Microsoft ASP and .NET development. We have a dedicated expert team of
ASP and .NET developers, who are familiar with the Microsoft stack environment, all versions of SQL, IIS and associated technologies. If you need a Microsoft technology based website, application or web application; we have the knowledge
and experience to design and deliver it.
• Database technology. The database is the fulcrum of modern business systems.
We have expert level experience in SQL, MySQL, Oracle, SAP, IBM, Access, Foxpro

being passed to our clients for a period of user acceptance testing (UAT). We use the very latest technology to ensure that our development is of the highest possible

Hosted online HR appraisal system, Big 6 Energy Provider
Our client required a fully automated web application to manage, process and deliver
scored results from an all-round appraisal system to be used by senior and middle
managers. Due to the industry of this client, the security requirements of this task
were beyond the abilities of their previous development partner. SGP Consulting
delivered the project, to an enhanced specification, 8 days earlier than agreed and
with all user acceptance testing completed. This project was a great example of the
synergy between complex data-driven systems, and well designed and clean user Complex Data Driven Website
Our client, a successful team of London based entrepreneurs, required the
design and development of a new web based business idea. The concept
was a modification on a price comparison site, in a particular business sector;
complimentary to their existing business. After two weeks of engagement, we made
recommendations that the commercial revenue model for the project was likely to
cause significant barriers to user signup. Taking our advice onboard, the business plan was changed, site developed, tested and delivered and achieved break-even
status 3 months earlier than their business plan required.
