Intuit Account: An Intuit account offers you access to a number of Online Services

including, for example: Intuit.com, TurboTax Online, QuickBooks Online. Some of these services will require additional registration and payment information before they may be used. password and security challenge questions and answers.

allow you to access services. They are your first protection against others seeing your information. Learn more about choosing good usernames and passwords to protect your information here.

This prevents others from accessing your account if you share a computer or use a computer in a public place, such as a library or Internet café.

Security Question: In order for our automated password recovery system to make

sure that the person who is trying to reset a password is authorized to do so, we ask you to select a security question like "who was your favorite teacher". These

questions are selected to have you choose a question and supply an answer that would be meaningful to you and not to fraudsters. Please select your question carefully and remember exactly how your entered it because automated process protects you by requiring an exact match including upper and lower case letters. Intuit technical support personnel cannot look up your password or security question.

IP Address: An IP (Internet Protocol) address is the identifier used by the network

to deliver information to your computer. It technically describes the connection point of your computer or device to a TCP/IP network. It looks like 198.23.75.42. You can find the IP address where you are connected here. A cautionary note, however: If you are connected on a large internal or private network, the IP address that is used internally is not displayed externally. The IP address you receive from

whatismyip.com will show the address where your internal network is connected to the Internet. Some IP addresses are "static" which means that they remain the same over time. Other IP addresses are described as "dynamic" which means the

connection may or may not have the same IP address for each session.

This service will run on your system in the background regardless of whether your software is currently running. If you select the "automatically download" option for updates the Intuit Update Service will periodically check Intuit's servers via the Internet for updates. If an update is available, it will be automatically downloaded and you will be prompted to install that update the next time you start your software. If you select the "ask me first" option for updates, the Intuit Update Service will run in the

background, but will not check Intuit's servers for updates until you confirm that you want it to check. Product/Service Specific Information

Applications Developed by Other Companies: The Intuit App Center is an online marketplace for Web Applications some of which integrate with our products. When the application is developed by a third party, that third party will be identified and the third party's privacy policy will apply. When applications are developed by Intuit, this privacy policy applies.

Websites: Intuit provides a subscription Web site hosting service. This privacy statement does not apply to any Web site of a third party subscribing to that service. Any information you provide for the purpose of registering a domain name will

become part of the public WHOIS database.

QuickBase: Your QuickBase service is billed to an account. QuickBase recognizes the account in which your data lives as the owner of your data. The account is responsible for payment and can transfer ownership of your data. Account owners and administrators should keep in mind that if they grant another individual full

(13)

administrative rights to their account, that person will have access to the account's billing information.

QuickBase billing accounts allow access and control over database information dependent upon the roles assigned to specific members of the account A billing account administrator can delete your application without your permission. However, the billing account administrator will not have privileges to view or alter the data unless you grant such access. QuickBase users in the same e-mail domain will be able to see each other's e-mail addresses in addition to their QuickBase screen names. This increases your ability to correctly identify a QuickBase user within your company, which is helpful when granting access permissions. Billing account

administrators can also deny any user access to the entire account. If an account owns the e-mail address tied to a user account, a billing account administrator can completely deactivate that user's QuickBase account. Please exercise caution when assigning billing account administration rights.

Any content you place in a QuickBase database will not be publicly available unless you voluntarily choose to give permission to other QuickBase users, to QuickBase groups, or to the general public for that database. between you and Intuit, products and services under this privacy statement are not "HIPAA-ready" or "HIPAA-compliant," and will not assist with or ensure compliance with HIPAA, the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act. You are solely responsible for using these products and services to comply with all applicable federal and state privacy laws relating to medical or health information.
