Best-practice-design

The tried-and-tested room layout to suit all the requirements of the components can be called

undoubtedly „best practice“. Coarse technology (FM) and fine technology (IT) are separated by a grid wall. Access restrictions, for example, for maintenance personnel, is easier to implement.

A further added benefit is that: the CDC is

not visible from the outside as is the case with a conventional data-center.

Flush mounting parts are not only visually appealing, they also simplify overall handling. Fire prevention with oxygen reduction form part of the standard design. Optimised reliability

and reduced operation costs are assured by

most efficient precision air conditioning and UPS systems.

The complete system is based on the fundamentals of TÜV Rheinland Consulting criteria catalog and is instantaneously suitable CAT 2 classification. In addition, the possibility of a RC4 classification exists to German Institute for Standardisation EN 1630 for the container shell. The whole security concept can be expanded on customer request. Double safety in case of fire

The container shell provides full fire protection against risks both internally and externally. In addition to the fire prevention system via the reduction of oxygen inside the container, no emergency power shut down is required in the case of fire. Meanwhile, the data availability remains guaranteed.

The server room

For the room layout there are several options available. Up to seven IT equipment cabinets with fully usable 42 HU can be easily accommodated. Convenient access to the racks is guaranteed regardless of the complex configurations. Above the IT cabinets, waste heat is combined and discharged into an air channel. The handling the highest packing densities thus also energetically not a problem. The system does feature preinstalled basic cabling infrastructures. The complete media distribution is installed by means of a specialised overhead cable pathway.

Due to the omission of a false floor comfortable access heights can be achieved.
