A Message from the Principal...

I am delighted to welcome you to the 31st Annual Holy Spirit Catholic School Auction. This event is the primary fundraiser for the school and a wonder-ful community building experience. Although this year’s auction will be virtual, our staff and parent volunteers have worked hard to make it an engaging and enjoyable celebration. By God’s grace, Holy Spirit has successfully met every challenge presented by COVID-19 with perseverance and dedication, and we are deeply grateful for your generous support.

The funds generated through tonight’s auction are vital to the continued operation of school programs. These funds go directly into the operating budget and enhances our ability to fund instructional improvements and extracurricular activities. Your support tonight ensures that we can further our mission to pro-vide a welcoming environment where all students live the gospel message, ex-hibit high academic achievement and provide service to the community.

This year’s “Call to the Heart” will focus on updating safety features at the school. The funds will be used to modernize the existing security cameras, and to install electronic locks for the main exterior doors. These improvements will help to ensure that our students and staff are safe at all times and will also serve as a deterrent to theft or vandalism. Over half of prospective families ask ques-tions about school safety when touring HSCS and we believe that updating the school’s safety features will help attract more families to our amazing school while also benefiting currently enrolled students.

On behalf of the students, faculty and staff of Holy Spirit Catholic School, I would like to express our deepest gratitude to everyone affiliated with the pro-duction of tonight’s event. I especially appreciate

the support of our generous Pocatello/Chubbuck community, the efforts of Andrea Gumm, Allison Hinz and all the terrific auction committee volun-teers who give so much of their personal time, talents and treasures to make this evening suc-cessful.

Blessings,

Karianne Earnest, Principal
