Home- School Connect

Cocoon and Coccon+

My Daily Routine Planner

It will help me be 21st century ready!

Dear Parents!

Amidst the uncertainty of the lock down period, our team of experts is consistently engaged in designing a meaningful and engaging Home-School Connect programme for you. Please go through the planner. We have written it from the perspective of the child to help you understand his/her development milestones and provide you the ease of vocabulary while you communicate with him or her. You can be flexible based on your home routine. We are suggesting the most pedagogically appropriate activities to help you contribute actively to your child’s learning.

Time My Actions How Is It Helping Me

7:00 Wake Up: I wake up, greet everyone at home a very healthy and safe morning with a smile. I stretch my body, and hop and jump for a while to warm up. I sing the following rhyme with Mom’s/Dad’s help.

I wake up, I wake up! (Do the actions of waking up.) I wash my face, I wash my face! (Do the actions of washing your face.) This is what I do when I wake up in the morning.

I brush my teeth, I brush my teeth! Hooray! Hooray!

It is helping my personal, socio-emotional development.

7:15 am Brush My Teeth: I brush my teeth and wash my hands the right way. My Mom/Dad sings this song while I brush. Everybody brush your teeth

Up and down and all around. First, you get the bottom ones

Don't forget the side and the back ones. Rinse and rap and tap your brush And don't forget to put it up.

Steps of washing hands:

1. Turn the faucet on. 2. Take some liquid soap.

3. Rub your palms to make lather. 4. Wash the lather and germs off. 5. Wipe your hands dry with a towel.

I am learning how I can be clean and hygienic.

7:30 am After I freshen up, I am ready for a hot glass of milk. I do not complain if there is no milk at home. I will remind myself that we all are locked down to keep ourselves safe to fight the ‘bad’ virus.

I am learning about health and safety.

8:00 am I take turns to use the washroom. I take a quick shower or use a bucket. I do not waste water as a lot of water is going down the drain. People across the world are washing their hands every two hours; it is important to wash the coronavirus after all! I take care to keep all the things back in place in the washroom. The next person who has to use the washroom will find things easily.

I am thinking about saving the planet earth. I am learning to be organized.

I eat whatever is prepared for the family. This is the rule that we have made.

I am developing good eating habits.

10:00 am Little Hands at Work: I engage myself in an art activity. Mom can draw from me and I'll

scribble on it. Then, I describe the picture in my own words. I ask Mom and Dad to display my work in my room.
