Logging In

Introduction

Using the login credentials provided visit www.live-tracking.co.uk and enter your login details.

Once logged in we recommend you change your temporary pass- word ( See section 1.2 )

Login page

Visit https://www.live-tracking.co.uk. This will open up the login page where you will have to fill in the

login information that was sent to you in an email. It is important that you enter the login Information exactly as it is in the email.

Password Recovery

To recover a lost password or username enter the email address used on your account. A recovery link will be sent to your registered email address, click the link and a new password will be generated along with your username.

Live map overview

Once logged in you will be directed to the live map overview where you can monitor your connected devices, see real time information run reports, view historical journeys and much more.

Click the 3 dots to display pop out menu, select show history and a pre defined range to display on map.

History menu

From the history menu choose desired asset select from either the quick filter or use date from and to then click show the assets movements on the map with any event notifications which are set for the selected asset.

Geozones

Creating A Zone

To create a geozone select places from the left pane, then zones.

Click the zone icon (2) and draw on the map the zone you wish to create, you can change the colour, name the zone and edit at any time.

(1) Play back options.

Generating a report

To generate a report click the report Icon (1) a pop up window will appear click the plus icon bottom left (2), from the new window choose your report type, select individual devices or all, use the default data items or select individual ones to best suit you. Select your report type HTML, PDF, CSV use the quick filter for pre selected date ranges or select your start and end date with times, and click generate.

If you wish to auto generate the report type in the future name your report, select if you would like your reports daily or weekly enter an email address and click save.

(1) Name report ( use for auto generating reports only) (2) Choose report type

(4) Use default data items or choose to suit you

(5) Choose daily / Weekly reports ( use for auto generating reports only )

(6) Enter email address for reports to be delivered to ( use for auto generating reports only ) (7) Choose report format HTML / PDF / Xls

(8) Show / hide device coordinates and addresses

(9) Choose min stop time ( higher removes short stops ie at traffic lights ) (10) Enter top max speed ( not essential for generating a report )

(1) Assets: List of connected objects under your account.

(2) Events : Create events such as over speeding, zone in and out for notification purposes.

(3) Templates: Create custom templates which are used for email, sms and mobile notifications.

(4) SMS: Enable / Disable SMS sending service.

(5) User Interface: Choose daily / weekly reports ( use for auto generating reports only ).

(6) My Account: Enter email address for reports to be delivered to ( use for auto generating reports only ).

(7) Sub Accounts: Create sub users and assign all or selected vehicles / assets to them.

(8) Groups: Create groups for your vehicles / assets and assign them to the group.

(9) Employees: Create drivers to manually or auto assign to vehicles / assets if employee ID is setup.

(10) Passengers: To identify drivers and passengers on public vehicles.

(11) Trailers: Assign ID tags to auto assign trailers connected to vehicles.

(12) Active: Shows the status of devices in your account.

(13) Expires On: Displays device expiry date.

(14) Assets: List of connected objects in your account.

(15) IMEI: Displays the device IMEI number.

Events

To create events first go to settings, events and click the + icon choose the event type from the pre defined list or click custom to create your own.

Choose the device to allocate notifications to, or select all for all devices, then name and click the notifications tab, set your alert preferences and click save.
