SUBJECT: Wichita Airport Authority Rates and Charges for Maintenance Labor and Equipment, Parking, Equipment Usage, and Security
Purpose: Tenants and operators of the Wichita Airport Authority (WAA) may wish to engage the services of the Airport Authority to perform maintenance, construction, parking, or security functions or to utilize certain WAA owned equipment and facilities.
Therefore, it is necessary to establish applicable rates and charges for these services.
Responsibility: Tenants wishing to engage the services of the WAA to perform maintenance, construction, parking, or security functions shall contact the Airport Building and Utility Facilities Manager, Airport Ground Facilities and Fleet Manager, Chief of Airport Police & Fire, Airport Operations Manager or their designee to request services.
1. MAINTENANCE LABOR AND EQUIPMENT RATES
The following labor rates are hereby established unless otherwise amended:

The minimum charge for equipment rental shall be one (1) hour; fuel depending on market cost and product may be an additional sur-charge. Unless special circumstance arrangements are approved in advance by the WAA, all equipment rented shall be operated only by an employee of the WAA and will not be allowed off airport property.
2. ADMINISTRATIVE FEE
A 12 % administrative fee will be charged on any task that is performed by the Airport on behalf of or because of a Contractor/Tenant on a non-emergency basis. A 20 % administrative fee will be charged on any task that is performed by the Airport on behalf of or because of a Contractor/Tenant on an emergency basis. The fee will be applied to the total cost incurred by the Airport in performing the task. The fee represents the Airport’s cost to manage the task including, but not limited to, procurement services, approval processes, management staff time, supervision and overhead. It does not include a profit component.
3. PARKING RATES
The following vehicle parking rates are hereby established unless otherwise amended:
A. AIR CARGO BUILDING EMPLOYEE PARKING RATES
An employee vehicle parking permit shall be required when parking at the Air Cargo Building at 1935 Air Cargo Road. The tenant company is responsible for employee vehicle parking permits that will be utilized for cargo business purposes.
Air cargo employee vehicle parking permits may only be used while parking in the Air Cargo Building parking lot at 1935 Air Cargo Road, and shall not be valid for any other airport parking beyond this designated parking area.
The Air Cargo Vehicle Parking Permit rate is $20 per permit, per calendar year.
Permits will be invoiced to the airport tenant, and not issued until payment is received.
B. EMPLOYEE PARKING RATES
An employee proximity access card shall be required to access and park in designated airport employee vehicle parking lots.
The Employee Vehicle Parking Permit rates are:

5. EQUIPMENT USAGE
A. LAVATORY DISPOSAL STATION
Access to the WAA owned lavatory disposal station is granted pursuant to a user obtaining an operating permit from the WAA and complying with the terms and conditions thereof. The following rates and charges are hereby established related to the use of the lavatory disposal station.
Monthly Flat Fee per Authorized User: $250.00 (Provides up to four ‘access’ cards per Authorized User)
Additional/Replacement ‘access’ card: $100.00
6. AIRPORT ISSUED SECURITY ACCESS AND IDENTIFICATION MEDIA, VEHICLE RAMP PERMIT, AND PROCESSING FEES
The following rates and charges are hereby established unless otherwise amended for fingerprint processing (and/or CHRC), vehicle ramp permits, and airport issued security access and identification media (ID Media).
Fingerprint Processing: $50.00
ID Media: $35.00
Vehicle Ramp Permit: $20.00
Reprint Faceplate Only: $10.00
Fingerprint Card Only: $10.00
Access Card Control Agreement: $10.00
If ID media is reported lost or it is returned inoperable due to badge holder’s negligence, the fees below apply. If reissuance is required and a person has been issued both an ID Media and a vehicle ramp permit, and either becomes unaccounted for, then both media forms shall require reissuance.

In addition, a $50 fee will be charged for ID Media not returned to the Badging Office within three (3) days of its expiration date.
7. TERMINAL CONFERENCE ROOM RENTAL
The following rates and charges are hereby established unless otherwise amended for use of the Terminal building conference rooms.

Media Room $175.00 $250.00 $100.00 Food and drinks are allowed, whether brought in by guests or provided by an outside vendor, but will incur an additional cleaning sur-charge of $50.00.
Suggested Occupancy for each of the smaller rooms (East and West) is at 10 people, and 35 people for the Media room.
Exceptions: The only exception will be when the WAA is required to be involved with and attend the event for which the conference room is being used, in which case there will be no charge.
