Workboats in demand
As the world's supply of oil depletes, the Gulf's importance as a
source of energy will increase throwing the Middle East Offshore
oil and gas industry into overdrive. Just over 61%* of global
reserves are located in countries around the Gulf furthering the
importance of maritime security vessels.

The continued land reclamation projects, plus rapid development of shoreline and island
projects throughout the region and the growing workboat presence within the Indian
Sub-continent and Caspian regions, further fuels the demand for workboats of all varieties. From
maritime security vessels to dredgers and water taxis to tugs, already more than 2000
workboats of all kinds are estimated to be working in the Middle East.
Middle East Workboats, the event dedicated to the workboat industry in the region
, is perfectly placed as a unique
platform bringing together leading players from all over the world for networking and business.
