..is the national university of applied sciences of the Saarland. It

provides practice-oriented education with an emphasis on technologie and economy. It also focuses on technology transfer with companies in its region (Germany, France, Luxemburg/Belgium/Netherlands) and worldwide.

Some 4000 students are presently enrolled here.
