PolyDome introduces the largest member of our animal shelters –Mega Hut. This jumbo-size hut has multiple uses. It makes an excel-lent utility shed for mobile homes and back yards.
The standard Mega Hutcomes in 4 quarter sections that assemble eas-ily, to make a 10’ x 10’ square x 8’ tall building or add 5’ extension panels to make it as long as you want. The
unique design allows you add as many sections as you need and expand as your needs change. It’s totally free-standing, so you can move it anywhere–no foundation is required. A treated wood base frame is suggested for added stability.
Mega Hut works well for raising emu and ostriches and multiple calves after they are taken out of the calf huts. In fact, Mega Hut
pro-vides a warm, dry shelter suitable for raising animals of all sizes and breeds.
The Mega Hut has several differ-ent door options and configurations to fit your needs: A full-height, dou-ble opening, 46” wide door (ideal for ostrich) is available. Or order our optional 6’ x 6’ door kit which comes with two 3’ x 6’ door panels and a frame kit.

The PolyDome Mega Hutis made from UV stabilized polyethylene, so it is strong, durable, and easily cleaned. It can be made from opaque material to reflect the sun’s rays, or natural material to absorb the suns’ rays to help heat and dry the unit. Or com-bine both materials and rotate it to
face the direction needed for the season.
Additional Options:
With 5’ extension panels you can add to the length at any time. Other options include roof vents, side vents, and a turbine fan that can be installed in the roof for superior ventilation.

The PolyDome Convertible Indoor Calf Nurseryis whole new approach to calf hutches. This calf nursery is intended to be used indoors to keep calves separated to prevent disease and promote healthy growth. It works very well in cold climates where outdoor hutches do not stay warm enough in the winter.
The Convertible Indoor Nursery comes standard with a bucket hold-er feed station on the front. The feed station lifts out easily to allow access. A bottle holder can be added as an option.
This nursery has inverted ribs for better stability. It is made from UV stabilized polyethylene, so it is strong, durable, and easily cleaned.

What Does A PolyDome Footbath Do A disinfectant solution (copper sul-fate mixed with water) used in the footbath will kill or inhibit bacterial infections such as foot-rot and heel erosion. It penetrates up between toes and cracks, where bacteria inflames the soft skin, and then under the horn lining and inner sur-faces of each cleat.
By locating the PolyDome Footbath at the exit door of your stall barn, or in the exit lane of the milking parlor, cows walk through it twice a day.
The disinfectant solution hardens the horn and toughens the skin in vital areas between cleats of the hoof. This drying effect on hoof and skin makes cattle’s feet more resistant to bacterial infection.

The PolyDome Calf Warmer provides a comfortable environment for newborn calves. The PolyDome Calf Warmer
pro-vides a comfortable environment for newborn calves for the first few hours after birth. The top section is hinged, and removable, for calf entry. The floor is raised and slotted for easy heat circulation of the entire unit. There is a vent/peep hole on one end for proper ventilation and viewing the calf without opening the unit. The bottom is ribbed, and the front rounded, for easy transporta-tion. The front is molded to accept an optional steel hitch for towing.

The PolyDome Calf Warmer comes complete with a deluxe, high-per-formance, 110 volt heater. The heater has 3 heat settings and 2 fan settings for proper regulation under most temperature conditions.
The entire unit is made of medium density polyethylene for long-lasting durability and easy cleaning. Bottom is ribbed, rounded on the
front, and molded to accept an option-al hitch for easy transportation.
The raised, slotted floor allows for adequate warm air circulation. It can be lifted out for easy cleaning and disinfecting. PolyDome uses stainless steel for the supports.

PolyDome Bulk Bins are the perfect choice for handling high-moisture corn, soybeans, and other granular materials. They are made of high-density polyethylene which will never rust or corrode. PolyDome Bulk Bins will always remain clean and attractive.
The interior surface of PolyDome Bulk Binsis very smooth to reduce bridging. Plus, since they are just 2-piece construction there are no rivets and grain-clogging seams to contend with. The translucent polyethylene allows you to visually check material line from the outside.
All PolyDome Bulk Bins have a 22” top opening with a hinged, vented filler cap and a pull rope that allows ground control for filling.
There are 3 different transition collars available for the slide valves–
90°, 45°, and 30° angles. (See Accessories on page 18.) The new style collar allows easier attachment to the bottom cone with little or no cutting necessary. Our slides feature a galvanized plate and guide system. Our auger boots will attach to any of our slide valves and handle 4” or 6” augers. The auger boots have a clean out access cover.
All PolyDome Bulk Bins have a 16” hole in the bottom cone. The .8 ton bin has 38” of ground clearance to the slide valve. The 1.5, 2.5, and 3.5 ton bins have 15” ground clearance under the slide valves. The 4.5, 6.5, and 8.5 ton bins have 14” ground clearance under the 90° slide valve; and 11” ground clearance under the 30° slide.
PolyDome Bulk Bins feature heavy-duty support frames with
extra large secure plates for more holding power. They have flat strap cross bracing for increased stability. The .5 – 3.5 ton units come standard with 4 legs; the 4.5 thru 8.5 ton units have 6 legs. The legs have large support tabs which can be bolted to concrete for added stability especial-ly on the larger units.
All PolyDome Bulk Bins have a sturdy ladder with slip guard. It is braced securely to the top of the tank near the filler cap.
All hardware is supplied. Erection time is one-third of steel bins. Time is money!
Frames have a baked-on polyester powder coat finish which resists corrosion.
It is recommended that you use a concrete pad at least 5 1/2” thick for our 4.5 ton thru 8.5 ton units.

PolyDome has the silo accessories you need to make feeding times faster and your chores easier. The PolyDome Swivel Hopper, Silo Hopper, Clean Chute and Chute Liner work in combination to deliv-er high-moisture silage to your feed-ing area where you need it, when you need it, without the hassles of plug-ging and clogplug-ging. Plus, they keep your silo chute clean and accessible. The PolyDome Swivel Hopper is the perfect delivery system for your silo. It allows 220° of rotation to put silage where you need it. Made of high-impact polyethylene, the Swivel Hopper out performs other materials for slipperiness to allow clean discharge without plug-ging or bridplug-ging. It has a deep throat to handle high-moisture haylage.
The 10” funnel opening will accom-modate our 10” plastic pipe exten-sion. (Pipe is available in 3’ lengths.) The opening can be enlarged to near-ly 12” by cutting off a few inches from the tapered funnel. You can direct silage to a conveyor to save handling time.
The PolyDome Silo Hopper has most of the same features of our Swivel Hopper except it is one-piece and does not swivel.
Our mounting brackets attaches directly to the silo with 4 anchor bolts. The Swivel Hopper or Silo Hopper can then be simply pulled out like a drawer to allow easy access to the silo chute. No attach-ment to the silo chute is needed.

The PolyDome Clean Chute was designed as a low-cost way to keep your silo chute clean when used with an inexpensive poly bag all the way down to the bottom of the chute. The Clean Chute slips in to the chute doorway. You simply cut off the excess bag as you move the Clean Chute down.
The PolyDome Clean Chute is 24” wide x 28” tall. The unit will fit in a door opening as small as 17” x 21” x 9” deep. It removes easily for access. The Clean Chute has a new snap clip design to securely hold the bag. (Poly bag sold separately. Order to length, 19” and 21” lay flat sizes available.)

PolyDome Chute Lineris made of heavy-gauge polyethylene. Its slip-pery surface helps keep your silo chute clean. The translucent Chute Linercan be used to add light in the silo chute by cutting a 12” x 12” hole in the outside chute every 6 feet. The Chute Liner is 52” wide and 6’1” long to give 6’ of coverage. It’s easy to install. Simply strike a line in the center of the chute from top to bottom. Mark the center of the Chute Liner at top and bottom; position on line; and screw in place. Screw directly through Chute Liner into chute using standard sheet metal screws.
