The Université du Québec is a multi campus institution with constituent units situated in most of Quebec’s cities. Since academic policies at the University are developed at both the campus and system levels, their coherent application require co-ordination. The director is responsible for the co-ordination of registrar and students services activities: general academic policies, admissions, liaison, degree audit, advanced standing, equivalencies, catalogues, issuance of degrees and other credentials, statistics, students exchanges programs, financial aid, foreign students services, etc. • Development of general academic policy;

• Development of management information systems concerning the Université du Québec student body, and applicants for admission to all Quebec universities (undergraduate);

• Development of information systems to produce students statistics, catalogues and degrees; • Development of policies, procedures and programs in the following fields: advanced

standing and equivalencies, financial aid, insurance, admission of foreign students, international development awareness;

• Development of off-campus teaching;

• Development of programs of study (administrative sciences, vocational teacher training); • Production of a French language version of a video on “culture shock”;
