Descripción General Impartir clases de Licenciatura y cursos de especialidad en el área de Construcción, Estructuras Metálicas, Estructuras de Concreto y Madera,

Instalaciones en general y especiales, Administración y gerencia de proyectos, con los estándares de calidad institucional estipulados y generando espacios para que el alumno participe de manera active y responsable en la construcción y

evaluación de su aprendizaje. Asimismo, apoyar con consultoría interna y externa, así como en los proyectos de investigación dirigida que tiene asignados el

Departamento de Diseño y Arquitectura.

Principales Responsabilidades 1. Dar cumplimiento al programa de cada uno de sus cursos, manteniendo la estructura organizada de los objetivos, actividades, material y evaluación del curso para crear un entorno de aprendizaje adecuado para sus alumnos. 2. Incorporar en los cursos que imparte, los aspectos formativos declarados en la Misión y en el modelo educativo vigente. 3. Cumplir la normativa académica-administrativa, como las fechas del calendario escolar, la puntualidad y asistencia a clases, el conocimiento y aplicación de reglamentos, así como en la entrega en tiempo y forma de los reportes que se le solicitan. 4. Mantenerse competente en el uso de la tecnología para apoyar la enseñanza y enriquecer el aprendizaje del estudiante, utilizando recursos didácticos digitales, plataformas tecnológicas, repositorios de conocimientos, fuentes de información digitales, simuladores, laboratorios virtuales, software especializado, pizarrones digitales, entre otros. 5. Consolidar los proyectos estratégicos para el Departamento. 6. Participar en comités, academias o proyectos a nivel Departamento, División, Campus o Sistema, según se requiera.

Escolaridad Grado de Licenciatura obtenido en Arquitectura o Ingeniería Civil.

Grado de Maestría obtenido en Arquitectura, Administración de la construcción, Rehabilitación del patrimonio edificado, Restauración de monumentos, Ingeniería civil o en Ingeniería Estructural.

Grado de Doctorado obtenido en Arquitectura, Ciencias técnicas, Administración de la construcción, Ingeniería estructural o en Ingeniería civil.

Experiencia Experiencia mínima de 3 años como Docente y como investigador. Experiencia de 10 años mínimo en el ámbito profesional.

Conocimiento *Sólidos conocimientos en el área de construcción, estructuras metálicas, concreto y madera, instalaciones en general y especiales, administración y gerencia de proyectos. *Sólidos conocimientos de herramientas institucionales que se requieran para el desempeño del puesto (SAPPA, Blackboard) *Dominio de estrategias y técnicas didácticas para que el alumno participe en manera activa y responsable en la construcción y evaluación de su aprendizaje *Conocimiento de reglamentos académicos y metodologías de investigación.

Position Title: Visiting Assistant Professor 

Location: Santiago de Queretaro, State of Queretaro, Mexico  

Job Description: Visiting professor of the Department of Electronics and Mechatronics, Tec de  Monterrey University, Campus Queretaro. Candidates are expected to teach at the undergraduate  level, four courses a semester, in English. 

Qualifications: Candidates must have a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics or closely  related fields. Experience related to academic projects in Mechanisms Design, Robotics and  Mechatronic Design is desirable. Candidates must have expertise in the following areas: Industrial  Robotics and Industrial Networks. Strong teaching interest required. Candidates must have  experience  implementing  innovative,  interactive,  and  inspiring  educational  strategies  and  technology in the classroom.
