Abstract: Information systems and technology have become very important components for the success of businesses and organizations (Setiawan, 2018). Information systems can help all types of businesses to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of business processes. These factors cause many organizations to implement information systems by only paying attention to momentary needs. So that the copy information overlaps and the system platform is different from one another, which is not in accordance with the mission and purpose of the application of information systems. One of the main causes of these different platforms is due to lack of planning and without thinking about the main key in the process of developing information system . In this study a case study of the design of an enterprise architecture model of the information system of the academic and student administration bureau (BAAK) was designed by applying the TOGAF ADM method. Stages - The stages of the Togaf ADM methodology are translated into enterprise architecture modeling namely architecture vision, business architecture, information system architecture and information technology. This research is limited to the main business processes based on mapping using the value chain and only reaches the Opportunities and Solution phase in TOGAF ADM with a sample of research at a private university in DKI Jakarta. The purpose of this research is to overcome the problem in the old system where some of the processing is found to be still managed manually. This research produces a blueprint of information system architecture in the form of application candidates for each sub-organization that is arranged based on the priority level of needs so that the implementation process is in accordance with the desired and does not interfere with the performance of the information system both running and being built. This research also serves as a reference for the foundation of the development of the SI architecture in the management of universities to be able to improve services. In this study, there can be seen a gap in business processes where in running a business at BAAK UNU has not used IT as its main requirement and also processing academic operational data still using standard applications such as Microsoft Office.
Successful voice and data communication infrastructure can be used as an indicator for connectivity of network. A series of semi-structured telephone interviews were conducted to gather views on common information requirements and data sources, explore the key issues affecting access to consistent and high quality data, information and intelligence. They also sought to identify potential end users for the products, together with the key features and functionality which would be of most benefit to users.
In Figure 1, the underlying network infrastructure and communications equipment constitute the basis of logis- tics information system, providing support for data stor- age, information sharing, and application service. It cov- ers a wide range of equipments and technologies, in- cluding hardware platforms, software platforms, com- munication facilities and logistics standardization system and so on. They are usually built by government due to huge infrastructure investment. Considering large a- mount of data in public information platform, the more and more incoming number of concurrent user connec- tions and requirement on quick timely response, power- ful storage devices is needed here; this usually refers to the mainstream server. Now there is another choice—we can use an emerging information technology cloud com- puting platforms to implement, cloud computing plat- form can not only store public information platform but also can provide storage service for SMEs. When we refer to dimensions at this point, we are considering the number of coordinate axes in the multidimensional space. The position of a card in a space is specified by its coordinates on each dimension. When we use MDS, we prefer three dimensions because there is a substantial improvement over two, reducing the difficulty of interpretation. Because MDS techniques do not have any built-in procedures for labeling the dimensions, we suggest the coordinate axes as the first place to look at for the purpose of labeling dimensions. The first step is to look at the properties of the cards at each end of the dimension to determine whether there are some attributes that change in an obvious fashion. For example, using data from a sugar content study for beverages, a quick inspection will show if the beverages are arranged along a dimension in order of sugar content. If they are, the sweetness can be labelled as a dimension or at least a component of it. Additionally, we can look for clusters of points or particular patterns of a configuration. The dimensions are thought to explain the perceived similarity between items. In the case of similarities among sugar content, we expect that the reason why two beverages are seen as similar is because they have scores on the identified dimensions. A distance matrix cannot be analyzed directly using the eigen-decomposition, but it can be transformed into an equivalent cross-product matrix that can then be analyzed. • Proactivity. To help DIM agents to be adaptive to new situations, they need to be able to exhibit proactivity, that is, the ability to effect actions that achieve their goals by taking the initiative. Where appropriate, another characteristic that we feel our DIM agents should be able to possess is mobility, since not all of the resources that an agent needs to access will be within the local environment. Client-server architectures are not sufficient in themselves to yield efficient use of bandwidth, a problem where the Internet is suffering greatly. Consider the case where an agent (client) wishes to retrieve some data from a remote server; if the server does not provide the exact service that the client requires, for example the server only provides low-level services, then the client must make a series of remote calls to obtain the end service. This may result in an overall latency increase and in intermediate information being transmitted across the network which is wasteful and inefficient, especially where large amounts of data are involved. Moreover, if servers attempt to address this problem by introducing more specialised services, then as the number of clients grow so the amount of services required per server becomes infeasible to support.
The evaluation of the system prototype pointed out the following results. Firstly, it pointed out that the Hybrid Service is an effective solution with its negligible processing overheads and its high-performance under heavy workloads. Secondly, it pointed that the Hybrid Service presents stable behavior for access request distribution, replica creation and consistency en- forcement over a high number continuous operations. Thirdly, it indicated that the cost of distribution, fault tolerance and consistency enforcement is in the order of milliseconds. These promising results shows that high-performance, distributed Grid Information Service Archi- tectures can be built by utilizing publish-subscribe based messaging schemes. Fourthly, it pointed out that high-performance metadata access can be achieved by utilizing dynamic rep- lication/migration technique. This technique also reduces the cost of repetitive access requests by moving temporary copies of contexts to where they wanted. Fifthly, it indicated the differ- ences in the processing costs of different aspects of the distributed system. For example, the cost of fault tolerance is higher than the cost of distribution and consistency enforcement. This is because; there is an additional time required for performing additional unicast messages for higher fault-tolerance levels. Finally, it pointed out the trade-off between performance and fault-tolerance. The results indicated that the cost of replica-content creation increases, when the degree of fault-tolerance increased.
Extraction of IS concepts by using JAPE grammar and Regular expression, based on the GATE developer for automated extracting of information, provides a significant output. The main idea of using JAPE and Regular Expression is to identify IS terminology as tokens, for example, Computing, Libraries and Information Technology, from a large text where terms are located. The term ‗identification‘ relies on lookup from the Gazatteer list of IS which could match; for instance, it could be book art, book card, book guidance or book catalogue. Also, it will look up concepts such as computer application, computer science, computer experts, computer file, or computer image. The corpus was used to extract information science concepts contains 300 documents which were obtained. Therefore, the total document is analysed by running the ANNIE application organised as document reset, Tokenizer, Sentence Splitter Gazetteer, POS tagger, JAPE transducer and Orthomatcher. In annotation the set appeared in the display panel and concepts are highlighted in the annotation default.
In academia, this research has introduced the service architecture layer (model) for enterprise architecture. Therefore, the proposed layer will address the gap of business architecture and application architecture. It has also filled the gap of EA and ITSM through service architecture model. Furthermore, the service based framework has provided a service oriented solution for at least EA, SOA and ITSM. This idea can be extended to other domains.
The idea of fully patient controlled healthcare informa- tion poses legitimate challenges to healthcare providers. Full control implies that the veracity of the information in the record may be suspect. In the Indivo system, the patient has complete control over the sharing and distri- bution of her record. She is also allowed to annotate any document in the record, update documents that she orig- inally created, and hide, but not delete, documents that are either out of date or that she does not wish to share. Personal control does not, in this case, extend as far as document content, although the user is always free, at any time, to add annotations to any document explaining "the other side of the story." Users can also authorize providers or other users to make annotations on their behalf. For a PCHR-based health information exchange to be fea- sible, viewers of these data, especially healthcare providers who make decisions based on what they read, must be confident in an accurate and trustworthy view into the patient's health history. Hence, Indivo limits content modification. The system will not allow the patient to modify a lab test value returned by a hospital system. This is a feature – in return for not allowing the user to edit the information, Indivo presents it to providers and other authorized users as originating from the trusted (medical) source.
Abstract— The development time and cost for DSP solution have been improved significantly due to proliferation of rapid prototyping tools such as MATLAB-Simulink and Xilinx System Generator (SysGen). The present work explains a method for the design and implementation of a real-time DSP application using SysGen for Matlab. The scheme represents architecture for visual information hiding framework where information bit is embedded into the host image by means of LSB replacement technique. The design is implemented targeting a Spartan-3A DSP edition board (XC3SD3400A- 4FGG676C). The outcome of the results shows that this architecture offers an opportunity throughout a graphical user interface that combines MATLAB, Simulink and XSG and explores a different area concerned to hardware implementation.
Method The relevant articles published from early 1988 to 31 July 2018 were extracted through searching PubMed, Scopus, Cochran, Web of Science and Embase databases conducted independently by two researchers. results A total of 39 articles on CP information system were reviewed. Hospitals, rehabilitation centres and outpatient clinics were found to be the main organisations in charge of generating CP data. Each CP database used several data sources, with hospitals serving as the most important sources of information and the main generators of data. The main CP datasets were categorised into four groups of demographic data, diagnosis, motor function and visual impairment. The majority of data standards were related to the use of the International Classification of Functioning, Disability and Health and the Gross Motor Function Classification System. Finally, accuracy, completeness and consistency were the criteria employed in data quality control.

This object oriented database stores record components in a form native to the federation architecture. An Oracle version of the record server has also been developed and will also be tested in live use late in 2001. New web-based clinical applications have been written, using Java servlets, to provide end user access to the patient records held within the FHR server. The web servlet scripts extract single or multiple instances of patient record objects from the FHR repository and map the output object attributes to cells within HTML tables. At present these applications exclusively use http for client-server communication.
The development of EA with a study of model elements as the basis for developing EA is the proper step. The study of the use of the appropriate EA model is a more detailed study than a study that discusses the EA framework and EA architecture. This phenomenon shows that the EA study has discussed detail elements to help achieve the successful development of EA. However, the opportunity arises and the possibility of further research, since the model elements can be decomposed in the form of a metamodel.
The methodology was trialled and evaluated during the design and implementation of telecommunication service management components and systems across a range of management application areas, such as service accounting, fulfilment and assurance. The systems and components designed using the methodology were implemented using different technologies e.g. Enterprise Java Beans, OMG CORBA and Workflow based systems. The management systems developed involved multiple telecommunication management standards (e.g.. IETF SNMP MIBs, DMTF CIM, TeleManagement Forum’s SID, IETF IPSec). The approach proposed in the thesis seeks to enable open interface specifications to facilitate flexible component integration and enhance mainstream information systems development approaches for telecommunication management. The methodology supports a model driven approach to component and system development. This approach supports the re-use of the management component designs and their implementation across different middleware technologies. The methodology and the description of the systems designed using the methodology have been peer reviewed in international conferences (IEEE NOMS, IEEE IM), have been the subject of tutorials for research and industry at international conferences (IEEE NOMS 2002), have been presented to industry bodies e.g. TeleManagement Forum NGOSS development team and have been reviewed very favourably by an international review panel for European Research (FORM Evaluation Panel 2001 & 2002).
Where there is a business architecture, it becomes easy to build a portfolio of projects or initiatives that will help the business move forward in a strategic way, with each initiative bringing the business closer to the envisioned end state of the roadmap” (, p8). This paper has focused on the separation of business information into the business model, the business architecture and the strategic plan to give clarity and simplicity of definition to the business model. To this end only the summary level of the business architecture was described emphasizing the cause and effect relations between each of the documents. Future research should delve deeper into the business architecture to show how the supporting detail is organized and linked to the summary. In effect there should be separate architectures for finance (not the balance sheet) but showing where costs are expended & direct earnings are made, logistics (rather like the IT network architecture), human resources (which would include intellectual property and competencies) and of course the organizational processes. The process architecture should be the overall process flows not just IT and should delineate between the manual elements, the IT and the mechanised elements, with costs and time associated clearly attributed; a swim lane diagram that also shows the responsible departments would be very useful.
