INTEGRATED COMPUTER SYSTEMS. ENTERPRISE RESOURCE PLANNING (ERP)

INTEGRATED COMPUTER SYSTEMS. ENTERPRISE RESOURCE PLANNING (ERP)

At the beginning of the XXI century society, knowledge based society, the management of economic organizations can only be achieved through optimal IT systems. They can be seen as an extension of increasingly complex information systems and provide effective leadership only if they are integrated in the economic system of the organization. We have previously shown some of the features that recommend integrated IT systems to be controlled and used, as well as main principles for building the integrated computer systems, strategies that can be applied in the designing of this type of IT system. Advantages of management integrated IT systems can be best supported by examples, and therefore we intend to present a special category, but increasingly used, of integrated IT systems: Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP). They are “distributed IT systems based on client / server and developed for the processing of transactions and facilitating the integration of business processes with suppliers, customers and other business partners.”

ANTERIOR EDUCATIONAL SYSTEMA NEED OF TIME

ANTERIOR EDUCATIONAL SYSTEMA NEED OF TIME

A true knowledge economy is one where the entire population is knowledgeable and not exploited by anybody, and uses its knowledge to improve its wealth. It could not be market driven, but excellence -driven. Academicians point out a situation where higher education is tailor made to meet the market trends and that is in the introduction of biotechnology courses in the country. They argue that biotech students pass out without a sound understanding in life sciences. We cannot rule out the possibilities of compounding the trend among students to favors computer related courses neglecting other pure sciences, if we place too much emphasis on ICTs. ICTs for the sake of economic development cannot solve our problems including poverty. One cannot generate water or provide seeds to farmers with ICT alone.

Integrated Services With Smart Home Control Systems Applications

Integrated Services With Smart Home Control Systems Applications

The world cannot continue to rel for long on fossil fuels for its energy requirements. Fossil fuel reserves are limited. In addition, when burnt, these add to global warming air pollution and acid rain. So solar photovoltaic systems are ideal for providing independent electrical power and lighting in isolated rural areas that are far away from the power grid. These systems are nonpolluting, don’t deplete the natural resources and are cheap in the long run.The aim of this circuit is to demonstrate how we can utilise solar light to electrify the remote areas, i.e., how we can store the solar energy and then use it for small-scale lighting applications. Solar cells generate direct current, so make sure that DPDT switch S1 is towards the solar panel side. The DC voltage from the solar panel is used to charge the battery and control the relay

Brain Localization and the Integrated Systems Hypothesis: Evidence from Broca’s Region

Brain Localization and the Integrated Systems Hypothesis: Evidence from Broca’s Region

In conclusion, I propose that the human brain consists of localized areas sub- serving specific integrated systems and each is made up of distinct but in- tra-dependent/overlapping neural networks underpinning specific secondary functions (e.g. comparing and sorting information and manipulation of object, syntactic and phonological processing) that integrate to perform a primary func- tion (e.g. speech/language production). In essence, an integrated system in the human brain is a computational hub for specific primary tasks. This hypothesis also proposes that an integrated system do not work in isolation but connect with other integrated systems to produce related primary function(s), (e.g. the interaction of fronto-temporal-parietal areas of the brain in language).

High Frequency CMOS Integrated Filters for Computer Hard Disk Drive and Wireless Communication Systems

High Frequency CMOS Integrated Filters for Computer Hard Disk Drive and Wireless Communication Systems

span from low audio frequencies to the GHz range. Note that the frequency limits of active filters tend to improve as technology advances and faster active devices become available. In terms of sensitivity to component variations and fabrication tolerances, passive-RLC filters feature the lowest degree of sensitivity. However, they are not compatible with currently available integrated electronics. In most practical CT filters, an on-chip automatic tuning system is incorporated to overcome performance degradation due to device variations and fabrication tolerances as well as the effects of parasitics, temperature, and environment changes. Moreover, using the right filter structures can also reduce sensitivity. Low supply voltages have adverse consequences for active filter design. As the supply voltage shrinks, the linear signal range of the active devices also decreases. Consequently, the available dynamic range (defined as the ratio of maximum over minimum signal level) is reduced. The minimum signal is restricted by noise, which is generated by active devices and resistors, and does not show a corresponding reduction at lower supply voltages.

A Case Study Of Determinants Of An Effective Cloud Computing Strategy

A Case Study Of Determinants Of An Effective Cloud Computing Strategy

loud computing is defined in the literature as “a model for enabling convenient, on-demand network access [by business firms] to a shared pool of configurable computing resources … that can be provisioned rapidly and released with minimal management effort or [cloud] service provider [CSP] interaction” (Walz and Grier, 2010). It is defined as a model of “pre-existing grid-style compute-and-storage [resources], tightly coupled remote compute-and-storage services that are remote, but [seem] local, and hosted computing services” (Collett, 2010). It is “the illusion of infinite computing resources available on demand, … eliminating the need for [firms] to plan [in the] far [future] for provisioning; the elimination of an [immediate] commitment by [firms], … allowing [firms] to … increase hardware resources only when there is an increase in their needs; and the [inclusion of paying-as-you-go] for … computing resources … as needed … and release of them as needed [by firms]” (Castro-Leon, Golden and Gomez, 2010). Cloud computing is distinguished by fast elasticity for faster scalability, increasingly on-demand resource self-service, location-independent pooling of resources, measured or metered paying for resource subscription, and ubiquitous network access to high-powered resources by firms (Walz and Grier, 2010). Cloud computing is a method for enabling more effectiveness in the existing information systems of business firms (Linthicum, January, 2010).

FUZZY BASED DETECTION AND SWARM BASED AUTHENTICATED ROUTING IN MANET

Ziener et al. [13] proposed a novel approach that can attain the aim of zero overhead without affecting the task and performance of design. In this method, details of effectively not utilized LUTs (ILUTs) details are from post layout of FPGA design flow. Pseudo random number sequence determines the location where encrypted watermarks need to be encrypted. Tingyuan Nie et al. [14] proposed an approach to effectively hide the watermark bits in unused LUTs. In order to increase robustness, watermarking bits are integrated in the bitstream file.

Yamin et al. [18] also suggested using RFID tags connected to a central database as a means by which pilgrims may be tracked. One suggestion has involved the devolution of data collection during Hajj to the pilgrims themselves. This approach offers the prospect of gathering detailed information regarding the movement of pilgrims during the Hajj at low-cost. This system is known as Hajjdoc. It utilizes the Ushahidi platform and through a bespoke mobile application with a web server set up on Ushahidi’s web-hosted CrowdMap site. The web server enables reporting of data from all Hajjdoc pilgrim application users. The reports obtained deliver data regarding a number of aspects concerning the Pilgrims’ Hajj experience and their use of the various facilities provided. Yamin [19] also used RFID tags for identification and sensor devices in combination with database systems, such sensor devices being used to track the movements of pilgrims during the Hajj period.
