Ostrev and Vidick [OV16] apply our Theorem 2.1 to analyze a simpler XOR game than ours, resulting in similar number of possible questions, but slightly weaker robustness guarantees. It is an open question to determine the best trade-offs in terms of robustness, number of questions, and number of EPR pairs tested. Robust protocols certifying a largeamount of entanglement, without explicitly certifying that the state must be (close to) maximally entangled, are provided in [CS17, AY17, AB17].
Deep learning and Natural Language Processing technologies have been widely applied in market prediction tasks (Strauß et al., 2018; Alostad and Davulcu, 2017; Li et al., 2015; Ni et al., 2019), and the market related finance news has proven very useful for the prediction (Ding et al., 2016; Xu and Cohen, 2018). However, the studies of predic- tion in forex market, which is the largest market in the world with the highest daily trading volume, is much less than that in the stock market. Fig- ure 1 shows the average numbers per hour of forex related news. There is a largeamount of finance news related to forex trading with different influ- ence, so it is a huge challenge to extract the useful semantic information from news. Most of previ- ous works (Bakhach et al., 2016; Shen and Liang,
poor electrochemical performances when used as LIB electrolytes. Moreover, high concentration electrolytes always suffer from much higher viscosity, lower ionic conductivity and high costs, hindering its practical applications . So far, the most efficient and economical strategy is to add flame-retardant electrolyte additives to lower the risk of fires or explosions [26-28]. However, this improvement of battery safety is on the cost of battery performances since the presence of largeamount of flame retardants in the electrolyte would significantly lower the ionic conductivity . Therefore, developing a method to eliminate the trade-off between the safety and the electrochemical performance of the battery is of great importance for further development and practical applications of next-generation LIBs.
injected in this patient, the recurrent swelling may be evi- dence of chronic inflammation or an autoimmune reaction. Because the histological examination and bacterial culture swab provided evidence of the absence of a foreign body reaction or inflammatory reaction, we can also propose that an allergic or autoimmune reaction rather than a bacterial infection was induced in this case, which is also supported by previous reports . Furthermore, a long-term autoimmune reaction would likely result in immune suppression, leading to leukocytopenia . Third, the temporal pain could have been due to two causes. The first is the degeneration of the temporalis muscle after PAAG injection, which is supported by the previous observation of pectoral muscle degeneration induced by PAAG injected into the breasts [7, 8]. Although we did not collect temporalis tissue for histological examination due to our concern that this might injure the facial nerves, the more severe pain in the left temple, where the muscles showed the most filler infiltration, and the pain induced by changes in facial expression may indicate muscle degeneration. Second, a temperature-induced change in the volume of PAAG could be another reason for the variable pain, because even a very small increase in pressure due to such a change could be felt by a patient if a largeamount of filler had been injected or if the filler had penetrated the patient’s tissues. Last but not least, the fact that the fillers were not injected properly was the essential reason to induce this result. Firstly, the fillers should be injected in multiple sessions in multiple layers but not a largeamount of fillers in a loose interspace such as the epicranial aponeurosis at one time. Secondly, compared with the subcutaneous tissue, it may not be a good idea to inject many fillers adjacent to or into the muscles which may cause muscle degeneration or even leukocytopenia. Thirdly, a relatively larger amount of filler per session such as 8 mL compared with 2 mL may achieve a satisfactory result earlier and reduce hospital costs; anyway, too many fillers into the face in one stage (such as more than 16 mL, according to the literature) may mean a higher incidence of lumps or some other complications [9–11].
SCGF, a novel cytokine, exerts its action on primitive hematopoietic progenitor cells. In combination with other hematopoietic growth factors such as granulocyte-macro- phage colony-stimulating factor and erythropoietin, SCGF stimulates the formation of erythroid and granulocyte/ macrophage colonies, although SCGF alone cannot induce colony formation . Using a proteomic approach, we detected a largeamount of SCGF in the protein extract of one imatinib-treated GIST sample (Figure 1). This sample also had a residual cell component of <10% and was nega- tive or very slightly positive for CD117 staining. Biochem- ical analyses revealed the presence of a small number of KIT receptors with very low activation (data not shown). One of the advantages of using this silk fiber instead of cocoons is the easily extraction of fibroin and improve its use, because there were less organic residuals, such as pupae oil, remaining products of the metamorphosis, exuvia etc, that can increase the cost of the extraction. Unlike the cocoon, that contain the exuvia and raise the cost by the oil residues on it, then in this case it is necessary the chemical extraction of fibroin, using products with higher cost. This was the main reason why this studies was conducted, in other words, to reduce the cost of fibroin extraction and increase the amount of fibroin extracted.
We present a novel Locality-Sensitive Hashing scheme for the Approximate Nearest Neighbor Problem under lp norm, based on pstable distributions. Our scheme improves the running time of the earlier algorithm for the case of the l2 norm. It also yields the first known provably efficient approximate NN algorithm for the case p<1. We also show that the algorithm finds the exact near neigbhor in O(log n) time for data satisfying certain ―bounded growth‖ condition. Unlike earlier schemes, our LSH scheme works directly on points in the Euclidean space without embeddings. Consequently, the resulting query time bound is free of large factors and is simple and easy to implement. Our experiments (on synthetic data sets) show that the our data structure is up to 40 times faster than kd-tree. Our algorithm also inherits two very convenient properties of LSH schemes. The first one is that it works well on data that isextremely high-dimensional but sparse. Specifically, the running time bound remains unchanged if d denotes the maximum numberof non-zero elements in vectors. To our knowledge, this propertyis not shared by other known spatial data structures.
The partitioned clustering techniques, such as k-means, have advantages in applications involving a largeamount of data, but a particularity of this type of clustering is to establish a priori the number of input groups (k). So in practice, it is necessary to repeat the test by establishing different numbers of groups, choosing the solution that best suits the objective of the problem. Therefore, to validate the results obtained it is necessary to have validation mechanisms that allow evaluating the formation of the groups appropriately. An evaluation strategy is through validation indexes that help determine if the formation of the groups is adequate. These methods are based on estimates that identify how compact or separate the formed groups are. This paper presents validation indexes used as a strategy to determine the number of relevant groups. The results obtained indicate that this evaluation approach guarantees an adequate way the determination of the desired number of groups.
Nalini Prava Tripathy (1996) pointed that, mutual funds creates awareness among urban and rural middle class people about the benefits of investment in capital market, through profitable and safe avenues. Mutual fund could be able to make up a largeamount of the surplus funds available with these people.
However, listing up all the time-associated words is impractical, because there are numerous time-associated expressions. Therefore, we use a semi-supervised method with a small amount of labeled data and a largeamount of unlabeled data, because to prepare a large quantity of labeled data is costly, while unlabeled data is easy to ob- tain. Specifically, we adopt the Naïve Bayes classifier backed up with the Expectation Maxi- mization (EM) algorithm (Dempster et al., 1977) for semi-supervised learning. In addition, we propose to use Support Vector Machines to filter out noisy sentences that degrade the performance of the semi-supervised method.
By varying the amount of shear reinforcement the spec- imens with the same flexural reinforcement (SP 1–3 and SP 4–6), a total of six specimens were prepared. Among the specimens with low flexural reinforcement ratio (SP- 1–3), SP-1 was not reinforced by shear reinforcement, and was a control specimen to verify whether the origi- nal design concept had been properly implemented. SP-2 had a small amount of shear reinforcement. Two rows of D10 single-leg stirrups were placed at a spacing of 85 mm as a shear reinforcement along both principal directions. SP-3 had a largeamount of shear reinforcement. Four rows of D10 single-leg stirrups were placed at a spacing of 85 mm as a shear reinforcement along both principal directions. SP-3 had twice the amount of shear reinforce- ment than SP-2. Therefore, the objective was to investi- gate the behavior of the slab–column connections with varying shear reinforcement.
Contrary to our original hypothesis, the water flux into the anterior intestine remained positive over the next 64·h (Fig.·7). However, it steadily decreased over this period, possibly as a result of declining secretions (bile and other endogenous fluids discussed above), but also possibly due to absorption of water superimposed on this background of net secretion, which owing to the nature of this study cannot be dissociated from it. Notably, Bogé et al. observed a largeamount of water absorbed by the anterior intestine, especially in the pyloric caeca (Bogé et al., 1988). In the present study, the flux of water was always negative in the mid intestine, indicating net absorption of water entering from the anterior intestine at all time points. The posterior intestine absorbed or secreted little water (Fig.·7), in contrast with the finding of Bogé et al., who observed slight water secretion in the posterior intestine (Bogé et al., 1988). The results from naturally feeding trout in the present study appear to be very different from those for the starved, artificially perfused trout of Bogé et al. (Bogé et al., 1988).
in the core from a low to a high value would dramati- cally influence the calculated total carbon inventory of the whole planet. How much carbon is possibly stored in Earth’s core strongly depends on the initial amount of carbon present in the magma ocean, as well on the metal affinity of carbon under core-forming conditions. Over the last decade, experimental studies of the carbon parti- tioning between Fe–Ni alloy liquid and silicate melt (e.g., Dasgupta et al. 2009; Grewal et al. 2019) have revealed that the behavior of carbon during metal–silicate equilibra- tion is highly sensitive to the composition of the Fe-rich alloy (including the abundance of the light elements H, N, S, and Si) as well as to the pressure (depth of differen- tiation), temperature, and oxygen fugacity (Wood et al. 2013). Importantly, the debate currently revolves around how much carbon was sequestered into the core, and not if carbon was partitioned into the core (Dasgupta et al. 2009; Wood et al. 2013; Grewal et al. 2019). Assuming that a largeamount of carbon was accreted to the young Earth and that this was then sequestered to the core, then a significant amount of the carbon now present in the terrestrial mantle must have been delivered to the Earth after core–mantle differentiation, such as by a large impactor and/or during the accretion of the late veneer.
Semi-supervised learning is used to build models from a dataset with incomplete labels. It is a class of machine learning tasks and techniques that also make use of unlabeled data for training – typically a small amount of labeled data with a largeamount of unlabeled data . Semi-supervised learning falls between unsupervised learning (without any labeled training data) and supervised learning (with completely labeled training data). Many machine-learning researchers have found that unlabeled data, when used in conjunction with a small amount of labeled data, can produce considerable improvement in learning accuracy. The acquisition of labeled data for a learning problem often requires a skilled human agent or a physical experiment. The cost associated with the labeling process thus may render a fully labeled training set infeasible, whereas acquisition of unlabeled data is relatively inexpensive . In such situations, semi-supervised learning can be of great practical value. Semi-supervised learning is also of theoretical interest in machine learning and as a model for human learning.
Farm size of producers had a positive and significance effect on the choice of assembler and retailer outlets at 1% and 5% significance level, respectively. It also nega- tively and significantly associated with consumer market channel choice at 5% significant level. This implies that as the total land-holding capacity of farmers increased in a hectare, the probability to choose assembler and retailer market channel also increased by 43.4% and 58.8%, respectively. However, the probability to choose consumer market outlet was decreased by 50%. The pos- sible reason is, as smallholder farmers own large farm- ing size, they can produce a largeamount of wheat and sell to assembler and retailer in bulk to reduce marketing cost than consumer’s market outlet. This is because con- sumers did not purchase large amounts of wheat product from farmers, and as a result they try to sell the produce to assemblers and retailer’s market outlet (Table 2).

In comparison, the proposed ADC requires only 7 % of clock cycles and 0.2 % of total register clocks. The ideal ADC has nearly twice as many register clocks as the proposed ADC. The average error is calculated in the signal range from 0.9 to 2.8 s. The ideal ADC yields the best results and the proposed ADC is slightly better than Huang (2013a).
