Indeed, the operationresearch field is suggesting extremely sophisticated ap- proaches and techniques to solve huge networks problems; in which WSNs can be seen as a special case of problem than can be tackled by graph theory. The node scheduling problem in WSNs also is a scheduling problem in operation re- search perspective, which can be solved using mixed integer programming tech- niques. Actually, this survey suggests the most research techniques in operationresearch areas, which have been proven to be efficient in solving the WSNs problems. In this article, we present operationresearch techniques used to solve WSNs problems into four categories: routing protocols, energy saving tech- niques, network nodes allocation and network reliability. Different Operational Research techniques are presented and discussed in details here, including graph theory based techniques, linear programing and mixed integer programming re- lated approaches. The percentage usage of each OR technique in the surveyed papers is shown in Figure 1.
Abstract — Computer science and OperationResearch (OR) are interrelated since their origin, each contributing to the dramatic advances of the other. The main idea of operationresearch-based modelling in computer science applications is the systematic approach to deal with the problem and get the optimized solution. This is one of the best platforms where we get the best knowledge through profit and loss concept. This study is aimed to find the minimum cost and expected time to finish a project. OperationResearch also represents a clear idea about co-operation between intelligent relations with decision making. The optimization models are very useful in computer science, especially in software engineering and computer network domains. A system model can be built and mathematically prove by O.R models. The main overview of OperationResearch is to give the perfect solutions to win a war without fighting it. The implementation of O.R. is mainly depended on the person who provides the solution and the person who use the solutions. In this paper, we try to discuss and find the research directions of optimization models in computer science domains.
Many practical problems of various fields like business, planning, environment etc. are converted into mathe- matical form by a process called modelling. To properly model a problem, geometrical structures containing points and connected lines are used, which are termed as graphs. Because of its inherent simplicity, graph theory has a wide range of applications in engineering, physical, social and biological sciences in linguistics and in combinatorial operations research. Any problem that requires a positive decision to be made with limited re- sources and constraints, is regarded as operational research. OR uses systematic and scientific approach to solve the problems. A graph can be used to represent almost any physical situation involving discrete objects and a relationship among them. There are various examples in OR where graph theory can be used effectively, some of which will be discussed in this paper. The paper is divided into two sections. Section I describes the brief history or origin of Graph Theory and OperationResearch whereas some of the famous problems of OR have been discussed in Section II.
1) Secondary Data Analysis: This refers to analysis the past data that already exists and using this data to full potential and hence finding out gaps by reviewing these data sets. Here, the program managers play a very important role as they can help guide the OperationResearch (OR) process. A lot of useful and effective solutions and allocation solution have been derived through this technique over the years. The major advantage of this method is that it is easy to derive data in the least possible time as the reports are generated and maintained regularly.

The paper is concerned with whether CT transient saturation, which caused by sympathetic inrush, is the direct reason for mal-operation of transformer differential relays. In order to analyze transforming characteristics of saturated CT, the gain of each harmonic current transforming from primary winding to secondary winding of transient saturation CT is calculated. Based on the fact that series sympathetic inrush is easier to lead differential relay mal-operation than parallel sympathetic inrush, the effect of CT saturation on differential relay in the case of both parallel sympathetic inrush and series sympathetic inrush are investigated respectively. Theory analysis and simulation show that higher harmonic will be transferred by saturated CT more easily than lower harmonic, and then the second harmonic proportion of CT sec- ondary side is higher than that of CT primary side. Thus CT transient saturation itself is not essential reason for differ- ential relay mal-operation. Parallel sympathetic inrush and series sympathetic inrush will lead to different location CT saturated. Parallel sympathetic inrush will lead to CT located system side saturated; second harmonic ratio of differen- tial current increase and dead angle is large. Series sympathetic inrush will lead to CT located load side saturated; sec- ond harmonic ratio of differential current decrease and dead angle is small.

The aircraft's maritime patrol refers to the alertness activity of the aircraft in the designated area. Maritime patrol plays an important role in ensuring the safety of combat forces and the victory of combat. Recently, the research on the modeling of aircraft patrol behavior at home and abroad is mainly concerned with the implementation of patrol methods and techniques [4, 5]. Document  established a decision support system of search submarine scheme by antisubmarine warfare patrol aircrafts and put forward the decision of two level search scheme. A planning tool, called the Campaign Decision Aid, to optimize the utilization of the R-99 in its search and detection mission is developed in document . In addition, the evaluation of the effectiveness of the detection behavior is also a key direction for scholars at home and abroad. Document  also models the evaluation of the effectiveness of the call search Anti-Submarine Warfare and the patrol search Anti-Submarine Warfare. For the study on the effectiveness of anti-submarine warfare patrol aircraft using sonobuoy system and homing depth charge, document  puts forward an effectiveness evaluation model based on Monte Carlo method. Currently, there are few researches on the study of aircraft patrol area at home and abroad. Document  focused on the research on setting of aircraft patrol area of ship escort action of ship-based helicopter in off-lying sea. In conclusion, the current research is basically the realization of the tactical level of a particular type of patrol aircraft on patrolling missions. The research on the demand of multi-type patrol aircraft in theater-level operation simulation is not yet mature. So, the research in this paper has theoretical and practical significance.
The abovementioned examples prove that from the point of view of individual countries participation of their national institutions in research programmes focusing on cooperation is particularly important. It contributes to strengthening the country’s innovative, scientific and research potential. Moreover, as far as policy-making is concerned, it allows for formulating and promoting the perspective and interests of a given country through research reports’ conclusions and recommendations. Unfortunately, institutions representing the new member states are still underrepresented in the EU research programmes. Evaluation of Framework Programmes shows that the most important barrier for institutions from the new countries in joining the cooperation network is lack of key resources, which in this ace are particularly crucial, i.e. direct foreign contacts allowing to enter the network. Another important barrier is the language barrier (the majority of research programmes is conducted in English) (COWI A/S, 2009, pp. 44-45).
Before introduction of the present report, we would like to briefl y address the European registry/fl ag issue as we have been questioned about this several times during our work. It should be recalled that a pan-Euro- pean research vessel could not fl y a European fl ag as there is no European ship registry so far. Even though a European fl ag is represented on board as a symbol of joint European ownership and/or operation of the vessel, legally the vessel can only fl y the national fl ag of the country she is registered in. The owners will have to choose a national ship registry, and the vessel will consequently fl y the national fl ag of that country. This will attribute a nationality to the vessel, i.e. a legal regime that will apply to the vessel and to the persons on board. Therefore the choice of the fl ag is crucial. The ship reg- istry issues for a pan-European research vessel have been discussed in more detail in the fi rst document of the legal package “Recommendations and scenarios of legal implementation structures for the multi-purpose research icebreaker AURORA BOREALIS” 17 .
The new-type R & D institutions in Anhui Province need to learn from the posi- tioning strategies of relevant institutions at home and abroad, and work out the development positioning which is in line with their own characteristics. The po- sitioning of new-type R & D institutions needs to focus on ambitious goals and avoid short-sightedness. The government must take effective measures and im- plement comprehensive policies to guide Anhui's new-type R & D institutions to actively conduct innovative research around the local and even the national strategically emerging industries that are desperately needed while ensuring their survival and development. Do not be too eager to pursue the current economic benefits and make the scientific research carried out short, flat and fast. While pursuing reasonable financial and economic indicators, it should also guide all types of new-type R & D institutions to pay attention to basic, forward-looking and public welfare research. Focusing on the urgent needs of the industry and core technologies, we are committed to promoting the adjustment and optimiza- tion of regional economic structure and building itself into an innovation plat- form with a high concentration of innovation factors .

Technically, a country cannot belong to more than one Customs Union. In a Customs Union, members agree, among other issues, to charge a common external tariff to third countries. Yet COMESA, EAC and SADC have all attained FTA status, and are at various stages of establishing separate Customs Unions. COMESA and the EAC have launched their Customs Unions while the launch of the SADC Customs Union, initially set for 2010, was deferred to a later date.

According to the long-term measured deflection data of the Humen Bridge auxiliary channel bridge—a long span continuous rigid frame bridge, Peijin Wang established the finite element model and accu- rately predicted long-term creep deformation after completion. Further, the long-term growing deflection coeffi- cient was obtained. His achievements provide the basis for the long-term deflection prediction of similar bridges .
August 1st, 2013, “Business tax change to VAT” implemented across the China. Based on this, the pilot enterprises and non-pilot enterprises do not exist within the same industry, while the dif- ference of the tax levied of the small scale taxpayer also has been cancelled. This makes the ac- counting treatment provisions not fully meet to need to the new policy environment and situation of “BT change to VAT”, while accounting and bookkeeping processing of the VAT have become a difficulty for pilot enterprises. Using literature retrieval, analogy analysis, judgment and reason- ing method and the method of induction and deduction method, aiming at related to the latest change of policy released by the country and accounting treatment provisions to the “BT change to VAT” pilot enterprise released by the ministry of finance, therefore, this paper analyses the main business accounting of the “Camp changed to increase” pilot enterprises, and researches the stan- dard operation mode of business accounting and the accounting treatment related to the “BT changed to VAT”.
The shared mental model can make the decision maker have the decision criterion of other subjects, and the networked operation ensures that the combat units can have consistent battlefield situation information. Under this condition, the shared mental model allows the combat units to obtain other operational units of the combat plan, and the combat plan to join their own decision-making conditions, the other combat units can be identified next step to achieve multi-unit combat plan to form an overall combat power. In the following, we will simulate the change of the unit decision-making condition and the final gain after obtaining the other unit plan, and whether to obtain the relationship between the other unit combat plan and the action income obtained by the unit.
