Although there have been countless and many different types of efforts carried out by the government and Non Governmental Organizations (NGOs), yet, the recycling system has been proven to have failed to reach its maximum standards and potentials. The main problem for this is due to the absence of proper immediate sorted recycled items when the recyclable items are picked up at their recyclebin locations. The need to sort the items when they are sent to the recycling centers increases the total cost and deficit of the whole recycle system. This is the main reason why this project is conducted, which is to design and develop the current conventional recycle bins which is constantly beleaguered by the problem of unsorted recyclable items by creating a fully automatedsortingrecyclebin.
The automated “press device” for emerged stamp is actually build up or develop towards its application and it will be able to work fast and efficient during the less monitoring on its operation. That why it is very useful to have this kind of automated “press device” of emerged stamp in the school, polytechnic, university and other institution. So, for the development it needs a lot of research on the part that use for the automated “press device” for emerged stamp and the design must be consider to place at the limited space. For the future planning of this product of emerged stamp it has to consider a several things like cost, design and material in term of to develop a product that can go through the worldwide market.
In order to manage the project of Design and Development of Turntable for Automatic Sorting System that will be used in the industrial application, it must have some scope to assist or as a guideline to make sure the development of the project will run smoothly. Scope of project should be identified and planned to achieve the objective of the project successfully on the time. Among the scopes that been fixed for this project are as:-
Product design is considered to be the most difficult, sensitive and critical in creating products . It greatly influences the cost, robustness, manufacturability and development time of the final products . As a rule of thumb, the cost of engineering changes increases by ten times when changes are made in a later stage. Product planning, customer needs identifying, product specifica- tion, concept screening, concept scoring and bill of mate- rials are the basic tools for the development and design of a product. Designers use these concepts for the develop- ment of a product. This stage also includes comparing the relative strengths and weaknesses of the product, and determining concepts for further investigation, testing or development.
The rise of computing has allowed for the development of similar software-focused DfM methods. Two main strategies for analysis have been identified; rule-based and plan-based analysis . Plan-based DfM seeks to analyze the design through inspection of a generated process plan. Rule-based approaches eliminate candidate processes based on certain manufacturing constraints. An example of rule-based analysis is the fast heuristics approach used by Kim and Simpson, which seeks to eliminate candidate processes based on information about the geometric model . DfM systems that analyze the manufacturability of a model use geometric algorithms that are either feature-based or feature-free. Feature-based analyses seek to extract details about specific features of a model, such as an extrusion, hole, or plane. Information about the features is then used as an input to the analysis [7, 8]. Feature-based systems use methods to identify features from a model [9, 10], or rely on user input to specify information about the features . In contrast to feature-based methods, feature-free geometric analysis works directly with a generic model of the design. Algorithms inspect the surface representation of the model to determine its manufacturability, and can handle any arbitrary geometry without requiring feature recognition. Most published work in feature-free DfM analysis focus on one specific manufacturing process, such as machining [12, 13, 14]. Many existing DfM systems are focused on analysis during the detailed design stage of NPD. As an example, ProMod provides a CAD based DfM environment for users to specify tolerances during detailed design . Additionally, cost estimation has been attempted during new product development . For example, Pro-DFM uses a variety of criteria to apply a penalty factor to a pre-determined baseline cost, and creates an estimate of the product cost based on procurement, fabrication/assembly, and inventory cost .
Background: Many designers have looked into the development of ergonomic shoe racks due to usability issues in existing shoe rack designs. Nonetheless, there appear to be a number of potential flaws that still exist in these ergonomic shoe rack designs. Objective: This paper aims to design, develop and evaluate an ergonomic automated shoe rack for enhanced usability. Results: After conducting market research on available shoe rack designs, two stages of conceptualisations with selection matrices were done to select the most feasible design to be worked upon. Based on the concept selection matrices, the automated shoe lift bench concept was chosen and designed using the Autodesk Inventor Professional 2013 software. After the fabrication of the shoe rack, the Rapid Entire Body Assessment (REBA) usability test was used as validation for enhanced usability. A REBA score of 1 (negligible risk) was obtained for the new shoe rack while a REBA score of 6 (medium risk) was obtained for the conventional shoe rack. The enhancement came from the minimisation of neutral deviation from the neck, trunk and leg regions where users did not require to bend, squat or stretch to obtain shoes from the lowest rack. Conclusion: Overall, the automated shoe bench lift system proves to be extremely beneficial in improving the usability of storage systems and could be implemented in other furniture/storage products in future.

Abstract: For years, waste bin has been part of our lives; this has necessitated many inventions and innovations to make it automated. In this light, much research was channeled towards the opening and closing of the bin when the presence of human is sensed. However, this ma y be considered less smart since the bin will operate when the presence of human is sensed even though there is no intention to use it. To avert this ill, this paper presents the design and development of a smart waste bin. The objective of this paper is to develop a smart waste bin that detects the presence of man at a particular distance (1 meter for usage so as not to spill the dirt) and obeys voice command to open or close the lid. This is achieved by the use of PIR, ultrasonic module, voice recognition module, Arduino and servo motor. Results gotten after testing the developed system shows that the performance of the waste bin attains a better level of smartness compared to existing waste bin.
The study entitled Automated Lighting Rental System for Common Barangay Facilities sought to address the issues encountered by some users regarding the need of lights during their games in barangay Bulua, Cagayan de Oro City. The study covers the design, development and evaluation of automated light rental system for common barangay facilities. The developed device can be installed in any basketball court or gymnasium. Likewise, the developed device can provide duration of time based on the value of paper bill that was inserted in the bill acceptor and displayed in the LCD display. Receipt was immediately printed accordingly to their time based on the amount of the paper bill.

The two ultrasonic sensor(HC-SR04) is used. The first one is fixed inside the lid to measure the level of the bin. The second one is fixed in the front side of the bin to detect the obstacles(i.e Human Detection) which is illustrated in the below diagram(Fig.4). The servo motor is used for the automatic opening and closing of the dustbin. When the obstacle is detected through the second ultrasonic

Now one person can handle two machines due to this there is reduction in labour cost and the overall effect of this is nothing but increase in profit of company.

Figure 1(a) shows the developed prototype of the Hybrid Assistive Limb, and Figure 1(b) illustrates the mechanism of the knee joint of the device. This device is developed taking into account of the knee structure, and has one degree of freedom, that is, rotation around knee joint on sagittal plane, because in walking the motion of the knee joint is only rotation. Based on this model we have design and developed a model name MARUTI consists of the geared dual hinges, a DC Geared Motor, Microcontroller, Driver, Accelerometer, Flex Sensor, and a potentiometer attached to the knee joint of the user. It working capacity and the load bearing is much more as compare to other artificial limbs developed. The sensors attached with the system will examine the exact stress of the muscle and support the bone for its free movement while walking and also support the user to lift the object easily.
