The degree of uncertainty associated with the desired output from the team’s endeavours has a major impact on the management of the project. This is different to the issues around bleeding edge projects discussed above. The less certain the client is of its requirements, the greater the uncertainty associated with delivering a successful project and the greater the effort required from the project team to work with the client to evolve a clear understanding of what’s required for success. This is not an issue as long as all of the project stakeholders appreciate they are on a journey to initially determine what success looks like, and then deliver the required outputs. Budgets and timeframes are expected to change to achieve the optimum benefits for the client; and the project is set up with an appropriately high level of contingencies to deal with the uncertainty. Problems occur if the expectations around the project are couched in terms of achieving an ‘on time, on budget’ delivery when the output is not defined and the expected benefits are unclear 4 . Managing uncertainty is closely associated with and influences the complexity of the relationships discussed below.

Among the four algorithms for PICOD(1) presented in the chapter, GRCOV performs the best. For the random graphs on which the simulations were run, arguments similar to the ones used in Section 1.4 can be used to show that it produces an encoding with the same asymptotic performance as RANDCOV, but the practical performance is much better. In fact, the maximum number of coded bits required by GRCOV (this is among the random instances in the simulation, not globally), which is also plotted in the figure, is not substantially different from the average number. The performance of RANDCOV-PP is substantially better than RANDCOV, especially when the side information sets are denser and hence the G is sparser. Also, the performance of RANDCOV takes a hit in this regime. Both of these are due to the fact that the number of partitions in the client vertices increases, although most of them are “disjoint” which allows RANDCOV-PP to improve the performance significantly. In the following an approach for reducing the computa- tional complexity of the scheduling process is presented. It relies on the fact that certain requirements have to be ful- filled for advantageous effects of suppressing interference at the PMS. In case these requirements are currently not fulfilled, selected transmission parameters can be excluded from the considerations in the scheduling. As these trans- mission parameters would show lower or equal perfor- mance compared to others, their exclusion can theoretically happen without affecting the performance. The definition of requirements is based on a detailed study of the per- formance gains of coordinated beamforming under differ- ent parameters that will be introduced in the following subsections. There are many approaches has been discussed earlier for the detection of money laundering and most of them suffers with identifying the root of money laundering. We propose a time variant approach using behavioral patterns to identify money laundering. In this approach, the transaction logs are split into various time window and for each account specific to the fund transfer the time value is split into different time windows and we generate the behavioral pattern of the user. The behavioral patterns specifies the method of transfer between accounts and the range of amounts and the frequency of destination accounts and etc.. Based on generated behavioral pattern , the malicious transfers and accounts are identified to detect the malicious root account. The proposed approach helps to identify more suspicious accounts and their group accounts to perform money laundering identification.
