1. Generally M.1 Labours to existing

work are each measure separately.

M.2 Deductions are measured the nett sizes of the openings and recesses; no deductions are made for openings ≤ 0.10 m2.

M.3 Deductions are made for string courses, cills, lintols, and the like only to the extent of full brick courses in the height.

M.4 Brickwork and block walling circular on plan are measured the mean length.

C.1 Each item of Brickwork and Block Walling is deemed to include:

(a) All rough and fair cuttings

(b) Wedging and pinning (c) Raking out joints to form key
