Adding/Modifying Products
Description
Operators use products. ACs and Super ACs manage products, i.e., register users for products.
Adding a product to a login ID gives that login ID access to that product. Removing a product from a login ID takes away access to that product.
Depending on the product, it may have roles and/or accounts. See the specific product documentation for further details. Adding a role or account to a product gives the login ID access to that role or account for that product. Removing a role or account from a product takes away access to that role or account for that product.
For Operators, you must manually add the roles and accounts for a product. For ACs and Super ACs, CRS automatically adds all roles for a product; depending on how the product is configured, CRS may also automatically add all accounts. CRS also automatically adds the CRS product to all ACs and Super ACs.
Products, roles, and accounts that have completed being added are displayed in black.
Products, roles, and accounts that are in the process of being added are displayed in light and dark green. Products, roles, and accounts that are in the process of being removed are displayed in light and dark red and struck through. If you forget, click on Legend:
You can copy products, roles, and accounts from one login ID to another login ID. See Emulating Login IDs for further details.
