Field Name Description
Login Login ID for the user. The Login is a required field. Note that the login is case sensitive. This means capital letters are identified by the system, and stored in the Audit Trail as letters different from lowercase letters. In practice, this means the login JimR is different from the login jimr.
Password The user’s password. The combination of Login and Password uniquely identifies the user to SAP Campbell Product Security. Do not use a Password longer than 8 characters. Customers using clock must define a separate PIN in the Description field (see below).
IMPORTANT Clock brands vary in their support of PIN and Password lengths. Some clocks have password length restrictions. While Security Administrator allows you to enter a password up to 9 digits long, the employee is only able to enter a password up to 8 digits long. Some clock brands limit PIN lengths to even fewer digits. For this reason, you may not use an employee’s full SSN for a Password. Contact your Corporate Help Desk for more information on your clock functionality.
