Adding a Windows Web Server includes providing General Settings, Web Root Path Settings, Scripting Settings and Stats Server Settings. Provide the following information as required:
General Settings: Web Root Path:
Click the Browse button to set the required path for the web space folder. Index Server Catalogs:
Displays the option selected for the index server catalogs, in Global Settings. COM Object Registration:
Displays the option selected for the COM registration, in Global Settings. ACL Adjustments:
Displays the option selected for the ACL adjustments, in Global Settings. Forums:
Displays the option selected for the forums, in Global Settings. ODBC DSN:
Displays the option selected for the ODBC DSN, in Global Settings. FrontPage Extension:
Displays the option selected for the FrontPage extension, in Global Settings. Shared SSL:
Displays the option selected for the shared SSL, in Global Settings. Disk Quota Management:
Displays the option selected for the Disk Quota management, in Global Settings.
Web Server Settings IPless Domain IP:
This is the IP address used for Name Based or IPLess websites. This IP can be changed anytime without affecting any
functionality.
IPLess FTP Site:
This is the IP address of FTP site which will be used as host for IPless FTP sites. The panel will create the FTP access for each IPLess website under this FTP site. Select from the drop down option.
Scripting Settings PHP Settings:

Click the Browse button for the PHP filter path selection. For example,
C:\Php\php.exe.
Perl Settings:
If you have enabled Perl in the Global Settings for your web server, then here you have to provide relevant information. Perl Install Path is the path to Perl
installation folder. Click the Browse button for the Perl installation folder selection. For example, C:\Perl.
ColdFusion MX Settings:
f you have enabled ColdFusion MX in the Global Settings for your web server, then here you have to provide relevant information. ColdFusion MX Install Path is the path where ColdFusion MX is installed. Click the Browse button for the
ColdFusion MX install path selection. For example, C:\CFusionMX. Also provide
your ColdFusion MX Administrator Password.
.NET Framework Settings:
If you have enabled .NET Framework in the Global Settings for your web server, then here you have to provide relevant information. .NET Framework Install Path is the path where .NET Framework is installed. Click the Browse button for the .NET Framework install path selection. For example,
C:\WINNT\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v1.1.4322.
Stats Server Settings:
Stats Server Type:
Shows the stats server type selected in the Global Settings. • DeepMetrix
Remote Configured:
Tick this check box, if stats server is installed on remote box.
XSP Version:
Tick this check box if the version is XSP. If you are using any previous version leave this option uncheck. The XSP version is the service providerʹs solution and provides great web statistics with minimal
administration.
XSP Installation Site:
Here provide the site where DeepMetrix LiveStats XSP is installed.
Server IP Address:
This is IP address of the server where DeepMetrix LiveStats is installed and running.
Server Port:
This is port on which DeepMetrix LiveStats is listening. Default port is 8181.
This is administrative login name of DeepMetrix LiveStats.
Admin Password:
This is the pasword of administrative login. If administrator login name/password is given incorrect, the panel will fail to
activate statistics on websites.
• AWStats
AWStats is a statistics server which is shipped FREE with the panel.
AWStats Update Interval:
AWStats requires to manually update the statistics on daily bases. If stats are not daily updated then you will
loose statistics for previous day. To overcome this problem, you can set panel to regularly update the stats after the interval specified here. Recommend interval is 12 Hours.
• Webalizer
Webalizer is a statistics server which is shipped FREE with the panel.
Weblizer Exe Path:
Here correctly provide the path where you have placed ʺWeblizer.exeʺ.
• WebTrends
WebTrends Enterprise Reporting Server and WebTrends Enterprise
Suite 5.0/5.5 are supported.
WebTrends Version:
Here correctly select the WebTrends version from drop down menu.
Server IP Address:
This is IP address of the server where WebTrends is installed and
running.
Server Port:
This is port on which WebTrends is listening. Default port is 1099.
• SmarterStats
Enterprise Version:
Tick the check box, if the version is Enterprise.
SmarterStats Log Path:
Enter the full path where the smarter log files for websites should be stored.
Server IP Address:
This is IP address of the server where SmarterStats is installed and
running.

ASPFusion Install Path:
ASPFusion Install Path is the path where ASPFusion is installed. Click the Browse button for the ASPFusion install path selection.
ADDING A MAIL SERVER
Adding a mail server involves providing General Settings depending on the Mail Sever selected in the Global Settings:
IMail
Server Port:
This is the port on which IMail web mail is running. Default port is 8383. When a website is setup, customer will be given URL for web mail on this port. For
example, http://domain.com:8383.
User Datbase Type:
Select External Database if you wish to store/authenticate IMail users from an external resource.
External Database Implementation DLL:
The interface between IMail Server and the external database is accomplished via a dynamic link
library (DLL file). Specify the full path to ODBCUSER.DLL. For example,
C:\IMail\ODBCUSER.DLL.
ODBC System DSN:
Specify the ODBC system DSN for the database where the user information is stored.
DSN User Name:
Specify the user for the database.
DSN Password:
Specify the password for the database. This will be used to access the DNS and will prevent any unauthorized access.
Enable List Administration:
Enable this to make default domain administrator account, a list administrator of the domain.
ʹRootʹ Forward Address:
Specify the email address to be used as forward address for root user created for each domain. Set it as
WebAdministrator to use the default domain administrator account as forward
address.
Mail Max
MailMax Virtual Path:
This the HTTP path to MailMax virtual setup directory. For example,
http://ComputerIP/MailMax, where ComputerIP is the
IP address of your server.

MailMax Install Path:
Provide here the installation folder path. For example, C:\Program
Files\MailMax.
MailMax DSN:
Specify the MailMax DSN for the database where the user information is stored.
MerakMail
Server Port:
This the port on which Merak web mail is running. Default port is 32000. When a website is setup, customer will be given URL for web mail on this port. For
example http://domain.com:32000.
Mail Enable
No further configuration is required.
Mail Merak
Server Port:
This the port on which Merak web mail is running. Default port is 32000. When a website is setup, customer will be given URL for web mail on this port. For
example http://domain.com:32000.
Smarter Mail
Server IP Address:
Provide here the IP of machine where SmarterMail is installed.
Server Port:
This the port on which SmarterMail was configured at the time of installation. Default port is 9998.
Admin User:
Provide here the login name for SmarterMail administrator. The default login is ʹadminʹ and password is ʹadminʹ.
