WP-100 Intro to Computers (Basic Computer Concepts) (05-15-00)
This subject is designed to introduce the student to the basics of computer operations, Windows operating systems, and Managing Files. The student will learn the operating of computer components such as mouse, keyboard, computers and tablets within the Windows XP system. Format a disc, manage files, create folders, use short cuts, dialog boxes, and scroll bars.

WP-101 Intro to Computers (Web and Office) (05-15-00)
This subject is designed to introduce the student to the Windows Explorer and Microsoft Outlook. Subject entails web browsing using search engines, web researching, email on Outlook, attachments. Students will explore Microsoft Office 2007 programs, learning how to tab, print a file, save and close files. All of Office components will be defined, plus learning about office programs.

This subject is designed to introduce the student to Microsoft Word. The student will know how to create, edit, and format documents, and arrange texts and graphics.

This subject is designed to review and update basic math skills, with emphasis on whole numbers, decimals, fractions, and percentages.

This subject will introduce the student to the basics of accounting with emphasis on taxes, interests and depreciation, etc.

ENG 100 English (80-00-00)
This course is designed to strengthen students’ grammar, with special emphasis on the part of speech structure.
Students will practice writing grammatically correct sentences and learn the elements of good writing style with special emphasis on capitalization and punctuation. Vocabulary and spelling are also included. Speech communication techniques in one-on-one, small-group and public situations are also introduced.

OP 100 Office Procedures and Management (60-20-00)
This subject will introduce the student to general office management functions such as arranging for maintenance and repair of equipment, updating inventory and supplies lists, preparing purchase requisitions, collecting bills, preparing bank deposit slips, and performing other general accounting procedures. Additionally, students are instructed in how various payroll records are generated and used.

CUS 100 Customer Services/Inter-Office Relations (75-25-00)
This course will cover two general areas of personal relations; inter-employee pressures and relationships, and with the interface of the employee with the customer. Human relations such as how to get along with others are discussed. Instruction also includes problem solving, and business communication techniques including the use of Outlook, social media, and other electronic systems.

CD 101 Career Development (50-25-00)
This subject will teach the student how to actively use success strategies such as maintaining a positive outlook, practicing assertive behavior, and about the basic expectations in the world of work and understand the employer/employee relationship.

37 NURSE AIDE PROGRAM
The Nurse Aide Program is designed to prepare the student with skills necessary to provide nursing care to patients as a Nurse Aide, Home Health Aide, or Patient Care Assistant. A graduate of this program will be qualified to obtain an entry-level job in Hospitals, Nursing Homes, and Home Health Agencies. Upon successful completion of this program, the student will be awarded a diploma.

Total Tuition is $999.00, and is all-inclusive (i.e., there are no additional costs for books, supplies, or other items).

Although not required to obtain employment in all Nurse Aide related occupations, gaining recognition as a Certified Nurse Aide (“CNA”) requires both the school diploma and passing the state certification exam (Nurse Aide Competency Evaluation – NACE). The NACE Examination consists of a written and skills demonstration test. All fees associated with this course must be paid before the school schedules the graduate for testing.
