Reprographics Services
The Reprographic Centre (open until 20:00 Monday to Thursday and until 17:00 on Fridays during semester) provides a print, copying and finishing service to students.
‘Do it yourself ’ printing and copying are available at all times around the Institute.
Facilities for Students with Disabilities The building and approaches have been designed to ensure ease of access. The Institute welcomes and encourages applications from students with disability. Car Parking
The Institute has excellent parking facilities.
There are also a number of public car parks adjacent to the Institute. Please note that a traffic management solution is in place on campus which means that cars parked in non designated parking areas will be towed and clamped.
How to get to the Institute
ITT Dublin is easily accessible by road from the city centre and from the north and south city via the M50 motorway. The completion of the Northern Cross motorway and the Southern Cross motorway has eased access by road from all directions.
For those using public transport, the Luas Red line runs between Connolly and the Square in Tallaght, stopping within a couple of minute’s walk of the Institute. ITT Dublin is also accessible by bus, with a number of scheduled services stopping directly outside or close to the Institute.

The normal requirement for admission to an ITT Dublin programme is as follows:
Higher Certificate programmes (NFQ Level 6) and ab initio* Bachelor Degree programmes (NFQ Level 7/8)
* An ab initio programme is one where students must complete the full three/four year course to gain an accredited award.
If you are under 23 years old on 1 January you must have achieved Grade D3 in five Leaving Certificate subjects, including Mathematics and English or Irish or a FETAC Level 5 qualification or equivalent unless otherwise stated.
If you are over 23 years old, you will be considered as a mature applicant, and you may be admitted without meeting the Leaving Certificate requirement. Your application will be considered on the basis of your educational background and your work and life
experience will be fully taken into account. You may be asked to attend for interview.
• Bachelor Degree (NFQ Level 7)
Higher Certificate at Pass level, in an appropriate discipline, or a qualification which the Institute considers equivalent.
• Honours Bachelor Degree (NFQ Level 8) - School of Business & Humanities and School of Science: Ordinary degree at pass level or a qualification the Institute considers equivalent.
- School of Engineering: Ordinary degree at pass level with GPA of 2.50 or equivalent, in an appropriate discipline, or a qualification the Institute considers equivalent; applicants also require a grade B in mathematics at Ordinary degree level or equivalent maths standard.
• Masters Degree (NFQ Level 9)
Honours degree at pass level or a qualification the Institute considers equivalent.
Applications from those without Irish Qualifications If you would like to apply to ITT Dublin but you have qualifications from a country other than Ireland, there are a number of ways to check if your qualifications meet the requirements for entry.

Option two:
Have your qualification checked by ITT Dublin. ITT Dublin belongs to the Institutes of Technology Central Evaluation Forum (IOTCEF). This group produces a
publication, which is reviewed regularly ‘A World of Access’, detailing many of the qualifications from around the world and matching them to the entry requirement for programmes. ITT Dublin will try and match your qualification with the qualifications required for entry to the programme you have chosen.

• Attach the original transcript of your qualification when you apply for the programme you want to complete. (The qualification or transcript should state the standard obtained, the subject area and the level of the award)

Admission onto Professional Institute Programmes
Each Professional Institute sets its own Entry Requirements for their qualifications.
If you intend to study in ITT Dublin for the examinations of a Professional Institute, you must at the outset verify with the Professional Institute of your choice that you meet the Entry Requirements for registration. It is the student’s responsibility, and not that of ITT Dublin or any of its agents/ staff, to satisfy him/herself in this regard.
