Vita

Michael Stein is a native and lifelong resident of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He graduated from St. Michael High School in 2014. He graduated summa cum laude with full college honors from Louisiana State University in 2018, earning Bachelor of Arts degrees in History and Geography. He plans to earn his Master of Science degree in Geography this August 2021.

He completed the GeauxTeach program in the LSU College of Education to become a certified teacher of Social Studies for Grades 6–12 in the state of Louisiana. He has experience teaching middle school students at Sherwood Middle Magnet School, and high school students at Woodlawn High School and Lee Magnet High School (now called Liberty Magnet). He also has experience teaching college students as a supplemental instructor and teaching assistant at LSU.

He now works as a senior GIS analyst for the City of Baton Rouge.
