To install the Phoenix Card Manager Plus Versions less than 3.00, insert the diskette, run INSTALL and then answer the questions on screen as indicated below:

1. Type the number 1 or 2 to indicate the number of sockets. 2. Type either Q or A to indicate Quick or Advanced Installation. 3. Indicate the directory and destination drive where Card

Manager Plus will be located.

4. If you chose Quick Installation, answer the on-screen questions as indicated:

9. One of the following command statements should be enabled, by removing REM from the beginning, depending on whether one or two PCMCIA slots were indicated at the beginning of the installation procedure. The command statement including

/1 indicates one slot. The command statement including /1 / 2 indicates two slots. Modify these command statements if necessary.

Award PCMCIA Driver Installation - Cardware Version 1.18B 1. Type INSTALL and press [ENTER].

2. Specify the drive that will store the Cardware System files. 3. Specify the directory where the Cardware System files will

be located. The default directory is C:\CARDWARE. 4. Select your platform name from the list of platforms. 5. Select the PCMCIA controller from the list displayed. 6. Type Y to install Cardware on drive C and then type Y to

choose Express Installation.

7. If Cardware is installed properly, the command statements below will be in your CONFIG.SYS file. Edit the command statements as needed or start the installation procedure over. DEVICE=C:\DOS\HIMEM.SYS
