7. OxyDot Calibration

3.5 Logging / Timer Screen

3.5.3 Browse Active Tests

Clicking the “Browse Active” button displays the following window containing a list of the Open (Active) Tests (Test Name with Sample Number and Open Date & Time) for Logging.

1. Open Test: To Open a Test, select the Test from the Open Tests list and click the

“Open Test” button. Clicking the “Open Test” button closes the “Browse Active”

window and displays the selected Test Name with Sample number in the Logging/Timer screen.

Clicking the “Open Test” button without previously selecting a Test will display the following error: “Please select the Test from the Open Test List to open the test.“.

2. Update Description: Clicking the “Update Description” button displays the selected Test Name with Sample Number in a new window with Test Description and Sample Description in the following screen to allow you to update the Description and Sample Description field in the database:

a. Selected Test Name with Sample Number will be displayed.

b. Update the Test Description in the Test Description field.

c. Update the Sample Description in the Sample Description field.

d. Click the “Update Description” button to update the Test Description and close the window.

e. Click the “Cancel” button to close the window without updating the Descriptions.

3. Update Calibration: Clicking the “Update Calibration” button displays the selected Test in a new window with Test Name, OxyDot Calibration and the Sample Number in the following screen to allow you to update the Calibration. If the Calibration dA/dB is changed, the previous data points for the Selected Test and the selected Samples will be recalculated as per the New Calibration dA/dB.

a. The Test Name with Sample Number will be displayed.

b. Enter the New OxyDot Calibration dA and dB in the Calibration fields. If the Calibration dA/dB field is empty, an error message will be displayed.

c. Specify the selected Sample range to update the OxyDot Calibration (dA/dB).

The range must be within the number of Samples or an error message will be displayed.

d. Clicking the “Update Calibration” button it will ask you for confirmation: “Are you sure you want to update Calibration dA and dB. If Yes, the previous Data Points will be recalculated for the selected Samples“. If you click the “Yes”

button, the previous data points will be recalculated with the updated dA and dB for the Samples Numbers entered in “From” field to “To” fields. If you click the “No” button, the Calibration dA and dB will not be updated.

e. Clicking the “Cancel” button will close the “Update Calibration” window without making any changes.

4. End Test:

Please note that once you have ended a Test, you can no longer add additional readings to that Test.

To End a Test, select the Test from the Active Test List and click the “End Test”

button. Clicking the “End Test” button will display a message box: “Are you sure you want to End the Test? You will not be able to Capture additional data points for an ended Test.”. Clicking the “OK” button within the message box will display another message box with: “End All Samples within the Test? For the Test”.

Clicking the “Yes” button from the second message box will End all samples within the selected Test Name and remove the selected Test and all the Samples from the Open Tests list. Clicking the “No” button will only End the selected Test Name with Sample Number and remove only that specific Test and Sample from the Open Tests list.

Clicking the “End Test” button without previously selecting a Test will display the following error message: “Please select the Test from the Open Tests List to end the test.”

5. Print Barcode: Clicking the “Print Barcode” button will determine if the selected Test Name has multiple samples. If the test has more than one sample, a message box will be displayed: “Do you want to reprint the Barcode for the Test: ?” with “All Samples”, “Selected Sample” and “No” buttons.

If you click the “All Samples” button, the “Barcode” window will be opened to allow you to set the margin, height, width and orientation. The “Barcode” window will contain three buttons: “Print Preview”, “Print” and “Close”.

Print Preview: Clicking the Print Preview button will open a new window and display a print preview window with the Test Name and the last Sample Number.

Print: Clicking the Print button will print the Barcode for the selected Test and all of the Sample Numbers.

Close: Clicking the Close button will close the “Barcode” window.

If you click the “Selected Samples” button, the “Barcode” window will be opened to allow you to set the margin, height, width and orientation. The “Barcode” window will contain three buttons: “Print Preview”, “Print” and “Close”.

Print Preview: Clicking the Print Preview button will open a new window and display a print preview window with the Test Name and selected Sample Number.

Print: Clicking the Print button will print the Barcode for the selected Test and selected Sample Number.

Close: Clicking close button will close the “Barcode” window.

If you click the “No” button, the “Print Barcode” message box will be closed.

If the test has one sample, a message box will be displayed: “Do you want to reprint the Barcode for the Test : ?” with “Yes” and “No” buttons.

If you click the “Yes” button, the “Barcode” window will be opened to allow you to set the margin, height, width and orientation. The “Barcode” window will contain three buttons: “Print Preview”, “Print” and “Close”.

Print Preview: Clicking the Print Preview button will open a print preview

Close: Clicking the Close button will close the “Barcode” window.

If you click the “No” button, the “Print Barcode” message box will be closed.

6. Export File: Clicking the “Export File” button will display a message box: “Are you sure you want to export the CSV file for the Test: ?” with “Yes” and “No” buttons. If you click the “Yes” button, the application will check if the selected Test has more than one sample. If the Test has more than one sample, a second message box will be displayed: “Do you want to export all Samples for the Test:?“. If you click the

“Yes” button from the second message box, all Samples for the Test will be exported in CSV format with an individual file for each Sample. If you click the “No” button from the second message box, only the selected Test with Sample Number will be exported in CSV format.

The file name will be Test Name plus Sample Number plus Date & Time and will be saved at the following folder path: ”GENIII\LoggingReport\Logging” folder. These folders will be created under the local drive where the OxySense Gen III software is installed. For example, if the OxySense Gen III software is installed in the C: drive, the path will be: “C:\GENIII\LoggingReport”. A message box will be displayed with the file name export path.

Clicking the “Export File” button without previously selecting a Test with Sample Number will display the following error message: “Please select the Test from the Open Tests List to export“.

7. Close: Closes the Browse Active window.
