Selecting the right absorbent incontinence product depends above all on how much urine is actually excreted as well as on the usual or required changing rhythms.
To determine the excreted amount it is helpful to weigh the absorbent product before and after use. The difference in weight will indicate the amount which was excreted. To ob-tain the average of the excreted amount, it is advisable to weigh all absorbent products over a period of 48 hours and then calculate the average loss of urine per hour.
Once the average amount has been established, the HART-MANN Inco System makes it easy to select the most suit-able product. HARTMANN absorbent incontinence products feature a special colour code corresponding to the four de-grees of severity of incontinence and thus to the different amounts of urine excreted per hour. The colour code is used both on all of the packaging, as well as on the backing foil of the product itself.

1. Turn the person onto his or her side, then slip MoliForm between the legs from the front to avoid transmitting germs. The smaller absorbent pad is at the front.
2. In the buttocks area the larger part of the absorbent pad is un-folded so that the wetness indica-tor is positioned in the elongation of the spinal column. Moliform is positioned correctly when the widening part of the absorbent pad covers the area from the up-per thighs to the buttocks.
3. Pull up MoliPants elastic net pants and place the person on his or her back. Unfold the front ab-sorbent pad, pull up the elastic net pants at the front and make sure the MoliForm is positioned optimally.
