Completing the Upgrade

In document HYPERION ESSBASE SYSTEM 9 (Page 117-126)

To complete the upgrading of Oracle's Essbase® Integration Services, see Chapter 6, “Post-Installation Tasks,” Chapter 5, “Configuring Data Sources,” and Chapter 7, “Creating,

Upgrading, and Deleting OLAP Metadata Catalogs.” To work with the sample application, see Chapter 8, “Setting Up the Sample Applications.”

For detailed information about installed files, directories, environment changes made by the installation program, and uninstalling the software, see Chapter 9, “Completing Advanced Installation Tasks,” and Chapter 10, “Uninstalling Integration Services.”

Tip:

During updating, configuration, and testing, keep a list of all user names and passwords that you use to create or modify the system, including the applications with which they are associated and their purpose.
