Use this menu to configure settings concerning the output of the printer. To configure settings for the printer output:
1. At the printer control panel, press the Menu button.
Note: To navigate through the menu, use the Up or Down arrow buttons.
2. Navigate to Admin Settings, then press OK. 3. Navigate to System Settings, then press OK. 4. Navigate to Default Size, then press OK.
5. To select a setting, press the Up or Down arrow buttons, then press OK. To return to the previous menu, press the Left arrow button.
Note: The default for Default Paper Size varies, depending on the country-specific default
setting.
6. To print the user ID on the output page, navigate to Print ID, then press OK.
7. To select a setting, press the Up or Down arrow buttons, then press OK. To return to the previous menu, press the Left arrow button.
8. To have the printer output PDL data as text, navigate to Print Text, then press OK. The printer does not support printing in PDL.
9. To select a setting, press the Up or Down arrow buttons, then press OK. To return to the previous menu, press the Left arrow button.
10. To specify if a banner page is printed, navigate to Banner Page, then press OK. 11. Navigate to Sheet Location, then press OK.
12. To select an option, use the Up or Down arrow buttons:
• Off directs the printer not to print a banner page.
• Front directs the printer to insert a banner page before the first page of each copy.
• Back directs the printer to insert a banner page after the last page of every copy.
• Front and Back directs the printer to insert a banner page before the first page and after the last page of every copy.
13. Press OK. To return to the previous menu, press the Left arrow button.
14. To select the tray from which the banner page is printed, navigate to Specify Tray, then press OK.
15. To select a setting, press the Up or Down arrow buttons, then press OK. To return to the System Settings menu, press the Left arrow button twice.
16. To select what action the printer takes when a paper size mismatch occurs, navigate to Size Mismatch, then press OK.
17. To select an option, use the Up or Down arrow buttons:
• Off directs the printer to display a message prompting you to load paper.
• Nearest Size directs the printer to replace the paper with the nearest size paper before printing in 100% magnification ratio.

• Larger Size directs the printer to replace the paper with a longer size paper before printing in 100% magnification ratio.
• Use Bypass Tray directs the printer to use the paper size in the Bypass Tray. 18. Press OK. To return to the previous menu, press the Left arrow button.
19. To have letterhead print on both sides of the page, navigate to LetterH Dup Mode, then press OK.
20. To select a setting, press the Up or Down arrow buttons, then press OK. To return to the previous menu, press the Left arrow button.
21. To have information pages print on both sides of the page, navigate to 2 Sided Report. 22. To select a setting, press the Up or Down arrow buttons, then press OK. To return to the
previous menu, press the Left arrow button.
23. If you have purchased additional memory, you can enable and configure the RAM Disk feature. This feature allocates memory to the RAM Disk file system for collating, Secure Print jobs, and saved jobs.
a. Navigate to RAM Disk, then press OK.
b. To enable the RAM Disk feature, use the Up or Down arrow buttons to select Enable, then press OK.
c. To specify the amount of memory to allocate to the RAM Disk file system, use the Up or Down arrow buttons, then press OK.
d. Turn off the printer, then turn it on again.
Note: Not all Xerox® printers support every option. Only available options appear on your printer.
Configuring Tray Settings
Use this menu to configure the paper trays for the paper size and type, set custom sizes, and turn the display prompts on and off.

2. Navigate to Tray Settings, then press OK.
3. To configure the Bypass Tray settings, navigate to Bypass Tray, then press OK. a. To select a paper or envelope size for this tray, navigate to Paper Size. Press OK. b. To select a setting, press the Up or Down arrow buttons, then press OK.
c. To return to the previous menu, press the Left arrow button.
d. To dedicate a paper type for this tray, navigate to Paper Type, then press OK. To select a setting, press the Up or Down arrow buttons, then press OK. To return to the previous menu, press the Left arrow button.
e. To specify if the panel or the driver determines the Bypass mode, navigate to Tray Mode then press OK. To select a setting, press the Up or Down arrow buttons, then press OK. To return to the previous menu, press the Left arrow button.
4. To configure a paper tray, navigate to the desired tray, then press OK.
a. To select a paper or envelope size for this tray, navigate to Paper Size. To select a setting, press the Up or Down arrow buttons, then press OK. To return to the previous menu, press the Left arrow button.
b. To dedicate a paper type for this tray, navigate to Paper Type, then press OK.
c. To have the printer prompt you to set the paper type and size when paper is loaded in this tray, navigate to Display Popups. Press OK.
d. To select a setting, press the Up or Down arrow buttons, then press OK. To return to the Tray Settings menu, press the Left arrow button twice.
5. To determine the order in which the printer selects the tray for a print job when you have not specified one, navigate to Tray Priority. Press OK.
a. To specify the first priority, use the Up or Down arrow buttons, then press OK. The second priority setting displays.
