TABLE 91. AUX 105 CURRENT CONSUMPTION
6.6 Stop Sequences
6.6.1 Controlled Shutdown
This sequence begins when all of these conditions are met:
· There are no active shutdown faults.
· There is an active shutdown with cooldown fault.
· The PCC is not running in Load Govern paralleling state, or Genset Application Type is set to Power Transfer Control.
· Any of these conditions are met:
· Genset Application Type is set to Standalone or Synchronize Only.
· The open signal for the genset circuit breaker is active, and Genset CB Position Status is set to Open.
6.6.1.1 With Idle Cooldown
The PCC runs this sequence if Genset Idle Enable is set to Enabled.
6.6.1.1.1 Controlled Shutdown Advance Notice Delay
The PCC runs the genset at rated speed and voltage for Controlled Shutdown Advance Notice Delay.
This delay gives another device more time to transfer the load from the genset.
6.6.1.1.2 Multiple Steps in Parallel
In this step, the PCC begins multiple steps at the same time and does not continue until every one has finished.
Time Delay to Stop
The PCC runs the genset at rated speed and voltage for Time Delay to Stop.
If the PCC is in Load Govern paralleling state, the PCC runs the load govern ramp unload processes simultaneously.
The PCC remains in this step indefinitely until one of these conditions is met:
· Genset Application Type is set to Standalone or Synchronize Only.
· The open signal for the genset circuit breaker is active, and Genset CB Position Status is set to Open.
· The PCC returns to rated speed and voltage.
Rated Cooldown Time
If an active shutdown with cooldown fault is active, the PCC runs the genset at rated speed and voltage for Rated Cooldown Time.
If there is no active shutdown with cooldown fault, The PCC runs the genset at rated speed and voltage until the genset runs at less than 10% of the rated load for Rated Cooldown Time.
NOTE: If Rated Cooldown Time is greater than zero, the PCC waits indefinitely for the load to drop below 10%.
6.6.1.1.3 Rated to Idle Transition Delay
The PCC runs the engine at rated speed for Rated to Idle Transition Delay.
If Rated to Idle Transition Delay is greater than zero, event 1122 (Rated to Idle Delay) is active until the PCC finishes Idle Cooldown Time. (If this is an idle request, this event is active until the PCC finishes Idle Warmup.)
6.6.1.1.4 Stop Automatic Voltage Regulator (AVR)
The PCC stops driving the field windings in the exciter when the PCC stops running the engine at rated speed.
6.6.1.1.5 Rated to Idle Ramp Time
NOTE: If ECM CAN Enable is Enable, the ECM, not the PCC, actually controls the transition from rated speed to idle speed.
The PCC reduces the engine speed from rated speed to idle speed linearly during Rated to Idle Ramp Time.
6.6.1.1.6 Idle Cooldown Time
The PCC runs the engine at idle speed for Idle Cooldown Time.
6.6.1.1.7 Stop Engine
The PCC stops the engine when the engine has finished running at rated speed and idle speed.
6.6.1.2 Without Idle Cooldown
The PCC runs this sequence if Genset Idle Enable is set to Disabled.
6.6.1.2.1 Controlled Shutdown Advance Notice Delay
The PCC runs the genset at rated speed and voltage for Controlled Shutdown Advance Notice Delay.
This delay gives another device more time to transfer the load from the genset.
6.6.1.2.2 Multiple Steps in Parallel
6.6.1.2.3 Stop Automatic Voltage Regulator (AVR)
The PCC stops driving the field windings in the exciter when the PCC stops running the engine at rated speed.
6.6.1.2.4 Stop Engine
The PCC stops the engine when the engine has finished running at rated speed and idle speed.
