La funcionalización, que depende de la escala a la cual se hagan los patronamientos, debe ser mejorada. Para esto se recomienda explorar otras técnicas de texturizado que permitan obtener geometrías más finas. De esta manera las células interactúan más directamente con el biovidrio patronado pudiendo crear crecimiento óseo ordenado proliferando directamente a partir del material.
Es necesario evaluar la adsorción de proteínas utilizando técnicas electroquímicas complementarias como Voltametria cíclica o Microbalanza de cristal de cuarzo, con el fin de poder encontrar cantidades exactas de proteína adherida a la superficie de los recubrimientos
Anexo 1: Preparacion de Fluido Biologico simulado
Disolución de los reactivos Colocar 750 ml de agua destilada en un beaker de 1000 ml. Mantener agitación con un agitador magnético, así como mantener la temperatura a 36.5 ºC. El beaker es preferible colocarlo en un lugar limpia para evitar que se ensucie con polvo.
Adicionar cada reactivo de acuerdo a la tabla A.1 al agua hasta el reactivo No 8, uno por uno hasta que cada reactivo se disuelva completamente. La adición del reactivo No 9 se adiciona en cantidades menores a 1 g para evitar un incremento localizado del pH.
Ajuste del pH
Calibrar el pH-metro con una solución Buffer Standard. Después de adicionar el reactivo No 9 ajustar la temperatura a 36.5 ºC en este punto el pH debe estar alrededor de 7.5. Con una solución 1 M de HCL ajustar el pH a 7.25 o 7.4.
Después de ajustado el pH transferir la solución a un balón aforado de 1000 ml, lavando el beaker con agua destilada varias veces y adicionar la solución al frasco.
Adicionar agua ultra pura a la solución ajustando el volumen a 1000 ml y agitar muy bien. Mantener la solución en el frasco a temperatura ambiente hasta que la temperatura baje a 20 ºC y agitar muy bien.
