Abortion is the result of the activities of the dark forces. Abortion must never be performed unless the mother’s life is in danger. Dark forces are especially against those souls who are spiritually advanced. Evil forces work to prevent advanced people from taking incarnation. They want to
send an advanced soul to the Subtle World so that there are fewer soldiers of Light to fight against them on the physical plane of the planet. In the future we must not even think about abortion, but find solutions to avoid it.
Question: What about China’s current efforts to limit its population problems with abortion? What about birth control in general?
Answer: Birth control is all right, but the best method is discipline and natural methods. Even so, you are still trying to limit the number of people being born on the planet, which includes advanced people as well as premature incarnations. This planet could hold another two hundred billion people, if we lived correctly. But because we do not live correctly, there is not adequate space or food for them. If we lived according to the doctrines of Christ, Buddha, and Krishna, we would have plenty of life’s necessities.
Actually, humanity is currently wasting ninety percent of its natural resources. If we look at the situation scientifically, we waste for the most part; we are involved in greed, competition, jealousy, and the “mine-yours”
psychology for the most part. Animals know their sexual purpose more than we do. We are perverted and brainwashed. We look upon sex as a daily necessity, like eating. Once our glamors and illusions are gone, sex will be regulated so that it will be used only in need. We will eventually come to realize that sex is necessary only to bring in a child. How can we reach this awareness if our mechanisms are distorted and disturbed? We must accommodate and compensate until we reach the ideal. Sex, as we think of it now, is only a glamor, an urge. We do not need it, but we crave it because our movies, newspapers, parents, loneliness, and propaganda urge us toward excessive sexual activity. If we attain a natural, clean consciousness, however, we need much less sex than our current habits. It is a waste. The fluids involved in sex are Cosmic substances which are given to humanity to connect the Intuitional Plane to the human being. When this substance, this precious energy, is wasted, it cannot do the work for which it is intended. The best policy is to use common sense and be as clean and pure as possible.
When I first came to the United States I was surprised to find that twelve and thirteen-year-olds were having sex. A person should not have sex before age eighteen, and then it must be in a marriage.
There is some tolerance that we can allow to a certain degree, but not too much. We not only tolerate following our own sexual urges and drives, but
also we encourage others to do so. Eventually, however, a time comes when we see how we misuse ourselves and others. This is the moment that we crush our sexual glamor and stand in light. Of course we regret what we did in the past, but we think about the future and plan our life to handle our energies more creatively.
In Atlantean times, syphilis, gonorrhea, and AIDS were so widespread that they destroyed that civilization. The safest route is purity. Have sexual relations only with your husband or wife. Be very careful that you do not indirectly force your marriage partner into unhealthy sexual practices. In everything you do, use your higher concept, your higher intelligence. Using this method you can more easily detect the hands of Satan sitting in your sacral center controlling you.
4. Evil works with disunity through thoughtforms, emotions, writings, and so on. Everything that disunites us as families, groups, and nations is from evil, no matter how sugary the form of disunity is presented.
Separation stems from evil; unity is from God. In everything there must be unity. Even if you have an argument, the common denominator must be in the best interest of both parties. The common denominator must win, which is for the good of both parties. When you see disunity, especially in groups, families, children, and so on, some dark entity is working there. You must be very cautious to stop it so that you keep the family together. Do not forget that disunity starts with sugar-coated words, intentions, and ideas. As a family member, you might think that you have the right to do whatever you want. This is self-deception. Your good intentions and good thoughts were sugar-coated instruments from the dark forces. Your only right is to maintain the integrity of the family, nothing else; otherwise you become a victim of the dark forces.
In groups one must be very careful not to express criticism and various acts of treason behind the back of the leader, the teacher, the group itself, or behind the interest of the whole. This is a sure sign that some evil has penetrated into those traitors.
Traitors often carry on their destructive work in the name of justice, but all their intentions are to gain superiority over their victims and satisfy their revenge, hatred, and hurt feelings. Most traitors cover their past ugliness and corruption with a blanket of purity and holiness, under which they attack
others in order to serve the dark forces. In attacking others for their personal ends they delay their evolution for many lifetimes and perpetuate their suffering.
Possessed ones try by every means to justify their actions, slandering somebody else and declaring that their actions were taken because of the weaknesses or supposed failures of others, to protect their “holiness” and
“immaculateness.” Such people usually ignore the “long tail” of their failures and misdeeds that hangs from their own back.
Regarding such an example, one Teacher wrote, “The difference between me and you is that in spite of all my weaknesses and faults, I am guarding a palace of highly beneficial ideas, visions, and the Teaching, and with all my humility and dedication I am serving those who need my help. But you, knowing of the palace and its treasures, escaped because you could not use the palace and its treasures any longer for the gain of your own selfish interests, and you could not stand the pressures placed upon the palace by its enemies. The ugliest thing was that instead of seeing your shortcomings, failures, and stupidities, you hid yourself behind an alibi that the guard of the palace was imperfect and that his imperfection hurt you. What a pitiful excuse this is to hide your utmost ugliness! I will ever stand guard, even until the last hypocrite leaves the palace to serve his vanity!”
5. Dark forces create doubt: doubt about God, immortality, the Teaching, about the concept of group, about Christ, faithfulness of loved ones, or anything precious. Once doubt enters your mind it eats you. Do not establish your reason and logic upon doubt. Be certain that what you are thinking and seeing is scientifically and logically right or wrong. You need to be certain of what you are doing.
One of the most efficient ways of erasing doubt is to be very accurate in all your actions. Are you doing things consciously, or are you an automaton? If you are being pressured into taking certain actions, for example, entering into the swift currents of a river and being involuntarily pushed by this force, you must be very careful because it is a sign that you are not your own master.
You are being a slave to some unknown agent who is very careful not to reveal his face. Once you start observing these things, the cause of your behavior becomes clear. You must ask yourself, “Why was I doing this or thinking that?”
Doubt is a very strong force. For instance, I remember a situation in which an organization was going to purchase a forty-acre parcel. The selling price was four- hundred thousand dollars. A man attended the meeting and scattered doubt about the owner, so the organization did not purchase the land. Three years later, that property sold for five and a half million dollars. To undermine a situation all you need to do is spread doubt because, like germs, doubt quickly multiplies. One little doubt is enough. That is why the Great Sage calls doubt “the coffin of the soul.”
6. Dark forces use confusion. Dark forces work through confusion. For instance, I told a group of teen-agers that marijuana was no good and not to smoke it. Five of them immediately said, “We have medical evidence which proves that it is not harmful.” Others said, “Some sources say it is very harmful.” At this point there was confusion in the group.
When a person is confused he continues doing whatever it was he was doing originally, and that is exactly what the dark forces want. This is referred to as being “lukewarm.” It creates a very bad condition in your consciousness.
At present, dark forces do not attack the Teaching; instead, they confuse the Teaching. For example, they say, “Karma is good,” so that people think they believe in karma. Then they subtly add a few definitions that change the quality of karma, and people swallow it because they did not speak against it.
They distort and confuse the issues with the purpose of confusing and manipulating you. This technique is used in politics, psychology, economics, communication — everywhere.
For example, let us say that Italy is a strong ally of this country, so for ten years we talk about Italy as a nation which is friendly to our interests. Those who wish to confuse us show up and say that Italy is secretly preparing to attack us. Once this information is expressed we start mobilizing, whether we like it or not. Then Italy becomes aware of our mobilization and makes counterpreparations. Once this psychology is employed, we are involved in an arms race, and a dark devil will be very happy about this situation. He will receive a medallion because he was able to create so much doubt and confusion.
In The Republic, Plato speaks about future government, saying, “Future leaders of humanity must be philosophers.” He means that our leaders must know exactly what their duties are and must know about the secret layers of
human psychology.
How can a man rule a nation righteously, or be a good congressman or senator, if he does not know these things? In the future, people will elect philosophers into public office, people who know the secrets of life. These philosophers will know how a devil can attack them. All leaders must learn the science of the dark forces or their leadership will not be righteous. How can a captain direct his ship in the ocean if he is not aware of the dangers inherent in every wave, wind, tornado, or earthquake? He must know about the dangers he might face in order to be a good captain. Likewise, the leaders of humanity must know about the tricks of the dark forces so that the ship can be guided in the right way. Our present leaders know nothing about the dark forces.
In still another example of disunity and confusion, a treaty is signed but at a later date that treaty is ignored,
even though it was a good treaty. The dark forces are always in favor of confusion and against unity.
7. Dark forces mix fact with fiction. This is such a subtle procedure. For example, I saw a movie in which an actor was masquerading the words of Christ. People in the audience knew he was talking about Christ, but in a way, the actor was speaking totally against Christ. This is a technique in which the dark forces are really proficient. First they present the facts, then the falsehood. They gain you with the facts, and then defeat you through the falsehoods.
This method is also used in our everyday relationships. For example, a man says to you, “Didn’t I tell you that five years ago your husband went with another woman and then shortly after that with another woman?” “Yes.”
“Well, now he is with a third one.” This time he is lying, but you believe him because he was correct the first two times. He seems reliable to you, so you do not see the poison in the capsule. That one little capsule is enough to create trouble between you and your husband. This is how the Satanic army operates.
8. Dark ones degenerate the images of Great Ones. For example, I once attended a play about Goethe, where Goethe was presented in such a ridiculous and dirty way that no one in the audience would want to read
what he wrote. A recent movie about Mozart depicts him as a disfigured, ridiculous, and dirty man, who just happened to write beautiful music.
The dark ones used Mozart’s great music as a trap to impress in you an ugly image of his personality. You will never again have the same image of that artist because of the way they destroyed his image. In another film, the Virgin Mary is depicted as an ugly prostitute. It was terrifying to see this sacred symbol of purity so horribly defiled. Another film depicts a saint engaged in homosexual activities. That saint has been worshipped for hundreds of years, and now they are presenting him as a homosexual. Anyone who hates homosexuals will now hate that saint.
And the evil one responsible will say, “I did it! I created disrespect for a worshipped image.” As if asleep, people pay millions to view these dramas and films which encourage them to create more and more damage to the human race.
This is a technique that the evil ones use. Who are they? Not a particular nation or tradition is responsible, but people found in all nations and all traditions.
Try being a teacher and you will see how very difficult it is in this day and age to deal with children. It is a very difficult duty. You must be a psychologist to do it. There are lots of disturbances in the psyches of children because of the movies and television shows they watch. Television and films are wonderful instruments for education, however, if they are used properly.
