Documentation Changes

In document Avid Editing Application (Page 101-104)

The following changes have occurred since the documentation was completed:

FluidMorph Effect Source and Input Parameters

Avid Artist Series Controller

When recording automation gain, the Avid Artist controller does not indicate that the recording mode (Latch mode or Touch mode). This has been fixed. A red LED light for the Shift + REC/AUTO button indicates Touch mode for the tracks used for automation gain and pan recording. Latch mode (the default) is indicated by an unlit LED light.

Red Rocket Card Support

The Red Rocket card reference in the PDF documentation should have stated that this card has been qualified for transcode only when used with a Media Composer software only system running with a 64-bit OS with local storage. The minimum drivers currently supported are Red Rocket driver v1.3.2.0 and Red Rocket firmware v1.1.8.6.

In the HPz800, the Red Rocket card can be installed in slot 4 and the local storage controller (if required) can be installed in slot 3.

In the HPz400, the Red Rocket card can be installed in slot 4 and the local storage controller (if required) can be installed in slot 5.

In the Mac Pro (Nehalem), the Red Rocket card can be installed in slot 2 and the local storage controller (if required) can be installed in slot 3.
