There is other scheme(10+1) from Animal husbandry and thats too for small farmers. In this scheme farmers are provided 10does and 1 buck from government.All are tagged and insured. Documents are same as that of above.In this scheme farm land is not kept as for security purpose,but u must have farm land to avail scheme.

Another scheme is from Government Industrial Department which provides a loan upto 25lakh with 50%subsidy only on

loan intereset and not the whole amount.That means if u goa loan @12% p.a u have to pay @6% p.a means 50%subsidy on loan interest.

In this case 10% is margin money that u have to deposit.40% is deposited by the government industrial department and 50% by bank.Here there is no compulsion of nationalised bank u can get loan from even corporate banks too

But the condition is same,u have to first agree the bank to sanction you loan,then only govt.industrial

department provides you remaining 40% loan amount.First u have to deposit your margin money(10%) then you have to agree your bank to provide 90% loan amount.If loan is sanctioned from bank then only govt industrial department deposits its 40% loan amount in banks account.

Note:Here bank keeps land as security purpose.4%-6% bank charges as processing fee.

Here farm land is not compulsion,if u have 20lakhs Income tax return recipt u can get 10lakh loan without any security and farm land.

Profit statement, expenses and income details of 5years.OSMANABADI goats. Real facts/extra income/hidden profit;

This is practical project calculations as per my experience.These calculations are for YOURSELF ONLY,

DONT PROVIDE THESE STATEMENTS TO BANK.For Bank there is "techno- economic parameters" chart given below.

100 does+5 bucks

Area require to built shed -4000sqft.

Cost of shed @80rs per sqft 4000x80=3,20,000rs

labour charge @5000rs per month 5000x12months=60,000

@1000rs per month 1000x12=12000

Electricity charge @1000rs per month 1000x12=12000

Cost of 100 osmanabadi breeding does 2yrs old( 2yrs old does produces more kids than that of 1yr)

@6,000 per doe 6000x100=6,00,000rs

cost of 5 osmanabadi breeding bucks 1yr old @10,000 10,000x5=50,000rs

Total WORKING CAPITAL:

3,20,000+60,000+12,000+12,000+6,00,000+50,000=10,54,000

Gestation period/pregnancy period of osmanabadi goats is of 5 months,it gives at least 2 kids per cycle of pregnancy,new goat farmers can expect at least 3 cycles per 2 years(You can even get 4 cyles per 2 year,means 2 cyles per year, but it depends on factors like seasonal breeding,heat period,resting period,fodder,diseases,goat farm practices etc. so we have consider 3 cycles for 2 years).So in 2 years you will get atleast 6 kids(2kids x 3cycles),that means 3 kids per year.

100 female goatsx3cyclesx2kids=600 kids in 2 year That means you will get atleast 300 kids in 1 year. 20% is the mortality rate in kids,and its by nature. So finally you can get 240 kids per year

Sex Ratio(number of females per males) is 1:1 So out of 240 kids 120 are female and 120 are male

Mortality of kids in osmanabadi goat breed or any other breed is 20% even if they are vaccinated properly,mortality is by nature and it also depends on goat handling practices.

NOTE:In techno economic parameters,Bankable project 20% mortality rate is considered.So that the bankable

project is nearly same for all types of breed.Just change the purchasing cost of does,bucks and selling price in that chart,if you are preparing project report for other breed ,here osmanabadi breed is considered.

Best selling period for male and female kids is of 6 months

6 months old buck (18kg-25kg,weight merely depends on fodder even you will get more weigh in some of kids) averagely sold at 5000rs(whole sale price) on per kg live weight or per piece method.Inclusive of transportation charges to market.

6 months old does (15kg-22kg) averagely sold at 4000rs

Note:Goats don’t have average weights,it depends on fodder,goat farm practices and diseases.In some goats you can get weight beyond this figures,these are minimum and average weights.

120(female kids/bucks)x4000=4,80,000rs 120(male kids)x5000=6,00,000rs

So total earning from 1 yr, that is of 240kids is 10,80,000rs TOTAL EARNINGS BY SELLING KIDS 10,80,000 IN 1 YR now lets look about feeding cost.

For 1does and 1buck rs10 per day.

So for 1 month 300rs(inclusive of dry fodder and vaccination,cost as per lease land) so for 1yr 3650rs

so total feeding cost for 100does and 5 bucks for 1yr: 100+5 x3650=3,83,250.

For 1 kid feeding cost is 8 rs per day(whole sale basis rates,as much concentrated fodder as you provide to kids more will be the weight gain).

So for 1 month 30x6=240rs

so for six months(coz kids are sold after six months) 240x6= 1440rs

so for 120kids,

120x1440=1,72,800(inclusive of dry fodder,concentrate fodder and vaccination) so for another 120kids feeding cost for six months is 1,72,800.

So for total 240 kids feeding cost in 1yr is 3,45,600.

Total feeding cost for 100does,5bucks and 240kids in 1 yr :3,83,250+3,45,600=7,28,850

FEDDING EXPENDITURE 7,28,850

Note:Here feeding cost is high as compare to bankable project given below.Coz here all norms are considered like land lease charges,labour charges for cultivation of fodder,harvesting,scarcity of workers so extra payment is paid to workers to bring them to farm,their transportation charges,and many more small expenses which are always neglected in bankable projects.

Extra income from selling of manure.Each goat produces 500kg of pure manure per year.

Manure is sold at 2rs/kg

so for 1 goat per year manures income:500x2=1000rs so for 100does and 5 bucks

105x1000=1,05,000

for 240kids,from 1kid for 6 months is 50kg manure obtain @2rs/kg 50x240x2(rs)=24,000

total income from manure: 1,05,000+24,000

MANURE INCOME 1,29,000

NOTE:In bankable projects,always the manure obtain is used for farm.But this is your extra income.So u can utilize urine drainaige in farm for crops instead of manure.Urine provides all the essential nutrients to crops as that of manure.So save the drain urine or water which is used to wash floor in a tank and which is further used for farm land.

total earning from selling of kids and manure. 10,80,000+1,29,000

12,09,000

total expenditure(working capital+feeding cost) 10,54,000+7,28,850

=17,82,850

TOTAL PROFIT/PENDING INVESTMENT AT THE END OF 1 YEAR: 12,09,000-17,82,850= -5,73,850

So here you will know that fodder is the main factor responsible for profit rates,lesser will the fodder expenditures more will be profit rates.

In open grazing systems,farmers get maximum profit rates as they have to spend very low amount on green fodder, as fodder is available in their surrounding areas at zero cost,Only they pays for concentrated fodder,even most of them is available at their own farms or at neighbours farm.

In techmo economic parameters(bank project) fodder cultivation land is assumed of your own,fodder cultivation requires 5 acres higly fertile land with adequate water supply .

***

profit for second year. Expenses

labour charge=60,000 water and electricity=24,000 shed maintenance=10,000

fodder inclusive vaccination=7,28,850 total:8,22,850

profit AT THE END OF 2 YEAR by selling 240kids and manure:10,80,000+1,29,000=

12,09,000

Net profit:12,09,000-8,22,850=3,86,150 ***

profit from 3rd year 3,86,150

***

profit from 4th year 3,86,150

***

100does and 5 bucks are sold as they become old now.For slaughtering purpose each doe @6000rs per piece and buck @10000rs per piece

100x6000=6,00,000 5x1000=50,000 total=6,50,000

so at the end of 5th year total profit: 3,86,150+6,50,000=10,36,150

Note:As meat price increases goats price to increase,so thats to is your extra income.Selling price of goats are as per current months.Meat price rises every year from 50-100rs kg.And they will never fall down in future as there is no availability of stock for at least 10yr.U can calculate your areas meat price for last 5years,you will get the idea.Also you will get at least 25% of extra income if you sold bucks(1yr) at Eid as there is a huge demand for them at that time.

EXTRA INCOME PROFIT STATEMENT WITH LEASE LAND. NOT FOR BANK.
