In the past few years we have said farewell to some of the most wonderful foundational leaders in the history of the church. My dear friend, and wonderful mother in the Lord, Ruth Ward Heflin has gone on to her reward. Her revelations, messages and visions of the Glory of God called the Bride to rise to new heights in Him. Our dear brother Kenneth Hagin, who birthed a revolution of faith in the house of God, and challenged us all to believe for the impossible, is now rejoicing in Heaven. The great theologian Derek Prince, who was one of the great voices in the Charismatic Revival in the seventies, has slipped into the Glory realm. These are just a few of those who have served the Lord with such intensity their lives touched us in the most powerful ways. But the message they preached and the mantles, which rested on them, have not been left in the dust. Others have taken the mantles and moved on to do even greater feats. I dare not begin to list these mighty men of God, lest I leave out one of the them. So many of the great leaders of our day have laid foundations on which those who are answering the call to enter the work of God can stand on, and trust. Even as so many of them have received the mantles of those they sat under, there is a lineage of mantles from which all these mantles have come from.
There are anointings being released in the earth today that are making dramatic impact. These impacts remind me
of the mantles carried by the giants, so to speak, within the Old Testament. We are seeing the fulfillment of the types and shadows of Elijah, Daniel, David, Samuel, Elisha, Moses, Aaron, Melchizedek, Ezekiel, Haggai, Isaiah, Amos, Solomon, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Enoch and all the rest of the partriarchs, and matriarchs, which make up that great cloud of witnesses in the Heavens.
These mantles were types and shadows of the anointing to come in, and through, Jesus Christ by the Holy Spirit. Just as the mantles came upon the cloud of witnesses caused the bearer to speak to the governments of both Heaven and earth, such will be and is the case, for those baptized in the Holy Spirit and Fire with the anointing of Christ today and henceforth until He comes.
As the Ascension Gifts (Apostles, Prophets, Evangelists, Pastors and Teachers) arise in the midst of the Body of Christ, we will see the residue of those mantles in the sound of their voices, the manner in which they approach the issues facing the perfecting of the saints, and the preparation of the Bride of Christ. We are going to witness some of the most powerful anointings appearing in these last days. They are being released for such a time as this.
Can you imagine how strange some of the statements were in the Epistles of Paul to the churches? He was sharing fresh revelation with them straight from the throne room of Heaven. They had the Law of Moses, and the writings of the Prophets in their possession. This was how they knew they were hearing truth, because it correlated with the writing of the Prophets, and matched instructions in the Law. Still, what they heard was blowing their minds. They had never heard anything like what they were hearing. Even when Christ was walking among them, they heard words from Him which were foreign to their understanding.
There Is a New Sound in the Earth To make matters worse, the Sanhedrin created a group of spiritual leaders who followed those who were preaching the gospel with a new political approach to keeping their influence felt. These so called "judaizers" would tell the new Christians it was all right to accept Jesus Christ as Messiah and Lord, but they should not do away with the Law. They reminded them that the Law had served them well, and that it too was part of God. So if Christ was from God, then they should accept that He was as concerned about them obeying the Law as He was them accepting Him as their Lord. It was a great psychological ploy by the Sanhedrin, and I am certain there were thousands who liked the aspect that they did not have to betray their beginnings. But the truth was that those new born Christians were in worse bondage as they attempted to live between the two worlds of the law and the grace offered them by Christ's teaching.
In these last days, the church will have a prophetic political voice unlike no other period in the history of this planet. The governments of the earth, through the crises and circumstances that are now being experienced, are going to turn to prophetic counsel as never before.
The Word of God in Amos 3:7 (NKJV) tells us, "Surely
the Lord God does nothing unless He reveals His secrets to His servants, the Prophets."
God is raising up prophetic ministries never previously seen on the earth. The earth is witnessing priest-king relationships as in the day of Moses, where the prophets of the Lord walked into the house of many Pharaohs declaring the Word of the Lord. In this hour we will witness this same type of administration. It will be the Word they speak,
coming forth as fire.
In one of our meetings the Glory of the Lord fell so mightily and the prophetic word came forth as follows:
"For the atmosphere will change, says the Lord, and people will see Me in unusual ways. For it will come to pass, I will move through the prophetic voice with a sign and a wonder. It will shake the Heavens where they speak, it will shake the politicians. It will bring many of them to their knees. There will be many midnight conferences where the prophets will declare the Word with such accuracy that some will attempt to destroy the prophets because of their visions. And it will be a shaking like you have never witnessed. In that day, the voice of the prophets will rise above any other voice. The prophets will not speak counsel only; they will speak correction, rebuke and judgments. The fear of the Lord will befall on many kings. And these kings, because of the fear of the Lord, will cry out with a loud voice for the Word of the Lord. The Word of the Lord will become rare as cabinet members attempt to bring reason. The Word of the Lord, which came to the kings through prophetic utterances, will cause words of reasoning to fall to the ground. For it shall be, says the Lord, as I say, I will do. For the mouth of the Lord has spoken this."
Man's original state was void of circumstance as we know it because of the Glory in which he lived. This little parcel of Heaven on earth was called Eden. One of the meanings of the word "Eden" in Hebrew is "a moment in time". When God made man, He placed him in one of these moments in time. Paul, the apostle, said there were times he was "between and betwixt". He seemed to be in and out of both worlds at the same time. He stepped into the world that
There Is a New Sound in the Earth simultaneously exists with the eternal, or supernatural. As we enter into the Glory cloud, we also can experience what the Apostle Paul did. What an exciting possibility!
The Scripture speaks of Jesus when it says, "Who being
the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, " Hebrews 1:3 (KJV). Also as Revelation 4 states
in verse 11 (KJV); "Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive
glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created."
Imagine, if you will, a day without worrying what time it is. Imagine having the ability to summon the animal kingdom together, and while they all sit before you, you give them their names. From that moment on, the animal knew who he is. Imagine walking through the garden, naming each flower and plant life all around you. In the cool of the afternoon you walk and talk with God. You do not have a lack of intelligence to do so, as you have one hundred percent brain capacity. In fact, you are able to understand the supernatural as if it were natural. This is the result of the full impact of the DNA of God in you. What an incredible existence. Everything Adam did was to give pleasure to God by addressing the creations of God. This was the first praise and worship ever experienced in the earth. Man was excited about the things God created. The delight of them came in this manner. By drawing attention to those things God created, proclaiming those things glorious and wonderful, Adam and Eve were able to experience what no other creature could—perfected worship.
Him in total Spirit and truth. In worship, we experience the original atmosphere He intended us to be in with Him. In worship you are not concerned with the elements of matter. He becomes the matter you worship. He is the revelation of all matter.
"... Without him was not any thing made that was made." John 1:3 (KJV)
He is everything that is and is to be, all the while waiting for us to simply worship who He is. Here is where the church has stumbled off the path into spiritual darkness. Many are obsessed with those things He has created more than they are in the rapture of His presence.
Can it be we have lost the desire to be caught up in His presence? Has the anvil, upon which our existence has been forged, hammered us into the restricted atmosphere of the earth? Have we become easy targets for Satan and his horde of demons that our warfare has become weak and powerless? Miracles become easy when the things of the earth no longer matter and our focus is totally on Him. The priority becomes His presence. Then your needs become His priority. We have seen it time and time again, miracles happen without as much as a prayer. When His presence is beckoned, His Glory is desired, this is when we will see Him in all His Glory manifesting Himself in our midst. We have seen eyes opened, deaf ears have unstopped, the dumb can speak, the lame walk and creative miracles abound when the atmosphere is Heavenly, not earthly, permeated with all that He is.
Miracles come with ease when we worship in Spirit and Truth. We meet the Creator in the atmosphere for which He intended us to live from the very beginning. Worship is a
There Is a New Sound in the Earth lifestyle created by the God of the Heavens. It is in worship that we fulfill our purpose for being created. Fulfillment of the will of God on our part is worship. A paradox, one begets the other because they are intertwined. If we come with a heart to praise and worship God, putting our agendas and programs aside, we can be assured He will show Himself in the midst of His people. If we fulfill His requirements, He will fulfill His purpose.
God wants to show the world that He is the great I Am and that there is no power likened to His. When we praise and worship Him, the greatest power available to those who believe and walk in the Spirit is at our disposal. The time has come for us to expect the unexpected, experience the unusual, believe the impossible, and witness the miraculous.
"Your worship will open the new
sound in the earth."
This is the hour of His Glory. Nothing else will suffice. Only His manifested presence will satisfy the ever- deepening hunger in the Body of Christ. This hunger is of divine origin. This is what you may be feeling as you read this book. You may be hungering for His presence, when all the time you are accepting the mechanics that take place in Church. Yet your expectancy is still the manifested presence of God.
Your worship is the catalyst to bring about the satisfaction you are seeking. Your worship will open the new sound in the earth. It is His song. It is from His heart. The melody must resonate from the innermost man. As our
worship intensifies, along with the sound of all those around us worshiping, the sound gains mass. As that mass of worship takes on more energy, it begins to lift the entire group of worshipers into another realm—the Glory Realm.
There is a new sound in the earth. It is not just the sound of the refrains of an old familiar song. It is the sound of the heartbeat of God. It is the sound of His voice as it rides on the praises of His people. Can you hear Him as He sings His new song to you. Get those spiritual ears open and hear the song of Heaven. Hear the new sound filling the earth.
There are realms of God's personality being revealed now that were not known five minutes ago. The angels are going around the throne revealing the revelations of God that they haven't seen before. They don't need to go backward or forward, because they have eyes before and behind them. They are singing the word "Holy".
Revelations 4 is the manifestation of divine worship. Anyone can praise but not everyone worships. When we sing songs we already know, they have only one dimension. Until you sing the new song, the realm of the Spirit has not quite yet entered the service. In your spirit there is a song that can take you there. Someone else's song may not take you there, but the song inside your spirit can take you there. If you have to read off a wall to worship, you do not know how to worship because it is coming from your head. It is common for a woman to ask her man, "Do you love me?" He has to be told to say he loves her. It is not spontaneous because it came from his head, not from his heart. You don't need to be told if it's real. There is a dimension missing from the service because we sing songs that are contemporary, carnal songs. We may sing songs that are spiritually glorious but then we go back to the contemporary songs. We backtracked and the Glory started to lift. The

There are times during praise and worship where you always begin in the known. But when we start the service in the new song—and end with the new song—there is no contemporary song. We stay in the new song, because the new song is the prophetic word being sung. Every song has a rhythm, a melody, and a beat. When Adam sinned in the garden, the whole rhythm of the earth changed. The supernatural became different. When something supernatural happened, it was an event. The original man was made to live in this event. Music is the international sound of the earth. When people sing they are prophesying. Some people shoot themselves in the foot. They tell you, "I heard this voice when the song was being sung." Until people begin to sing the new song there is a dimension missing from the service. The angels are going around the throne singing Holy, Holy, Holy! What is the new song? When God created Lucifer, you could tell he was an odd one out. He was made with music in him. He was the worship department of Heaven. But he was still the odd one by the very name God gave him.
The el in the Hebrew language is an abbreviation for "God, mighty, strong one, creator". Gabriel and Michael have el on the end of their name. Lucifer doesn't have the el on the end of his name. Even as beautiful as he was when God created him, there was no el—or God—in his name. God never gave him His name. Lucifer thought he had it all. He thought Heaven would suffer when he was cast out. He wasn't counting on the Holy Spirit being the standby. The Holy Spirit waited for him to fall. Inside the Holy Spirit were the new songs that Lucifer didn't know. Inside the Holy Spirit are rhythms and tunes and melodies that Lucifer would never know. When Satan fell, the first thing God
gave the earth was the new song.
Why the new song? To cover the atmosphere and the rhythm of the earth that was taken over by Satan's demonic music. The new song is made of a beat, a rhythm, and a melody. What is a rhythm? Some things happen in the Spirit but we just don't know it. A rhythm is a movement. Someone is being healed, delivered and set free with that new song. The new song is the Word of God being sung. The rhythm is the movement. What is the beat? The beat represents the timing. What time does it represent?
Now faith is. The beat sounds out the time, even though time has no real definition when applying it to the situation. Now, if praise is an affirmation, that I am being healed, delivered and set free, when I praise the Lord, then your praise affirms that God has already done it for you. The rhythm is the movement and the beat is the faith. How do we get the harmony? When the Glory of the Lord comes there is no rehearsal. Anyone can get in on that song.
There are just seven major chords in music. When we sing the song of the Spirit, it fits in with an eighth chord, which is a minor chord. In this minor chord everyone can
