Williams Companies announced leadership changes. Robert Purgason and Walter Bennett will each assume a role as senior vice president of one of the company’s operating areas, effective Jan. 1.

Mr. Purgason currently serves as COO of the general partner of ACMP, a position he assumed in January 2010. His prior experience includes service at Crosstex Energy Services, LP, where he was executive vice president and COO during most of his five-year tenure there. Previously, he served 19 years at Williams in various senior business development and operational roles.

Mr. Bennett currently serves as senior vice president of Western Operations for ACMP. His area of responsibility in that role includes ACMP’s Anadarko, Midcontinent, Niobrara, Mr. Barnett, Permian, Eagle Ford and Haynesville operations. Bennett’s prior experience includes serving as COO for Chesapeake Midstream Development; senior vice president of operations for Boardwalk Pipeline Partners; and a variety of senior positions at Gulf South Pipeline Co.

Stephen D. Pryor, president of ExxonMobil Chemical Co. and vice president of Exxon Mobil Corp., has elected to retire on Jan. 1, 2015, after more than 44 years of service.

It is anticipated that the board of directors of Exxon Mobil Corp. will appoint Neil A. Chapman as president of ExxonMobil Chemical Co. and elect him as a vice president of the corporation, effective Jan. 1, 2015. Mr. Chapman is currently senior vice president of polymers, ExxonMobil Chemical Co.

Mr. Pryor, 64, joined Mobil Corp. in 1971 and has held a number of financial and managerial positions in the US, Cyprus, the UK and New Zealand. In 1993, he was appointed vice president, Mobil Chemical Co., and general manager of Plastics Division. He was appointed president of ExxonMobil Refining & Supply Co. in 2004 and president of ExxonMobil Chemical Co. in 2008.

Mr. Chapman, 52, joined Esso Chemical in 1984 at the Esso refinery in Fawley, UK. He advanced through a series of engineering, operations, planning and marketing roles in various chemicals affiliates in the UK, Belgium, the US and Hong Kong.

Mr. Chapman became vice president, Global Polyethylene Business Unit of ExxonMobil Chemical Co. He became president of ExxonMobil Global Services Co. in 2007 and was appointed to his current role in 2011. The American Fuel

& Petrochemical Manufacturers (AFPM) announced that Brendan Williams has been promoted to executive vice president, effective Jan. 1, 2015. Mr. Williams joined AFPM in 2007 as director of government relations and advanced to become senior vice president of advocacy in 2013. Western Refining Inc. has appointed Robert J. Hassler as a new member of the company’s board of directors. He will serve on the board’s Nominating and Corporate Governance committee. Mr. Hassler, 62, is the former president of European refining and marketing for ConocoPhillips. During his 33-year tenure at ConocoPhillips, he served in various senior management positions in refining and marketing, as well as in exploration and production. Sabin Metal Corp. is marking its 70th anniversary in 2015. The Sabin Metal Group of Companies is composed of five independent organizations, and traces its origins to the late 19th century. The predecessor to the current organization was begun by the grandfather of Andrew Sabin. The company uses dual electric arc furnace (EAF) technology, which helps maximize recovery of precious metals.

Bayer Material Science has appointed a new Industrial operations and technology chief at Bayer Material Science. After a 34-year-tenure at Bayer, he participated in the establishment of Bayer MaterialScience, head of Industrial Operations and Technology Dr. Tony Van Osselaer has announced his retirement. His successor is Dr. Klaus Schäfer, 52, who will assume global responsibility for this unit effective Jan. 1, 2015. Dr. Schäfer studied physics and obtained his doctorate at Cologne University. In 1991, he began his career as an operations engineer at Erdölchemie. After various posts in production and technology, he transferred to BP in Grangemouth, Scotland, in 2000. He was responsible for the technical infrastructure of the refinery and petrochemicals site.

Wood Group announces changes to its senior management team:

Alan Semple, CFO, intends to retire and step down from his current role and from the board at the company’s annual general meeting in May 2015. Mr. Semple has been CFO and a member of the board since 2000.

David Kemp, CFO of Wood Group PSN, will succeed Mr. Semple and will join the board as an executive director. Mr. Kemp will assume the role of deputy CFO on Jan. 1, 2015.

Wood Group is also creating a new role of COO. Robin Watson, currently CEO of Wood Group PSN, is to be appointed COO during the first half of 2015 with responsibility for the three strategic business units— Wood Group PSN, Wood Group Mustang and Wood Group Kenny.

Marcela E. Donadio has been elected to the Marathon Oil Corp.’s board of directors. Ms. Donadio previously served as Americas Oil & Gas Sector leader of Ernst & Young LLP, until her retirement this year after a nearly four-decade career. As Americas Oil & Gas Sector leader from 2007 until her retirement, Ms. Donadio oversaw more than 3,300 oil and gas professionals across the Americas, directing firm oil and gas industry initiatives involving assurance, tax transactions and advisory services.

Ms. Donadio joined Ernst & Young in 1976 as a staff auditor and served as a senior manager before being made an audit partner in 1989.

Mike Wheeler has joined Fluor Corp. as the company’s chief procurement officer. Mr. Wheeler is responsible for procurement, contract management, material management, sourcing, travel services, logistics and export control for all of Fluor’s business lines globally. He also has oversight of Fluor’s supply chain entity dedicated to selling quality, cost-effective and stand-alone procurement services to midstream- market clients.

Mr. Wheeler served as senior vice president at Reliance Industries Ltd. in Mumbai, India, leading the company’s Procurement & Contracting Centre of Excellence.
