FINANCIAL REPORTING DIVISION Bond Issues

The May 31, 2021 Delinquent Special Taxes and Assessments report (Attachment 3) is related to certain bond issues and discloses the current year delinquencies for the West Camarillo Community Facilities District No. 1 (CFD #1) at 1.55%. No foreclosure proceedings are required to be initiated on any delinquent properties.

Other Post-Employment Benefits (OPEB) / Pension Rate Stabilization Plan (PRSP) Trust Balances for the accounts at May 31, 2021 were: OPEB $5.7m, and PRSP $6.9m, which reflects a 0.80% increase in the investment return for the month. The May monthly statement is attached (Attachment 4).

Note 1: The West Camarillo CFD #1 (Mello-Roos District) provides that the City will commence foreclosure proceedings by November 15th of each year, if the aggregate amount exceeds $5,000 on any single parcel, or if less than 95% of the aggregate tax levy is received. The Finance Department will continue to monitor CFD #1 delinquencies and will take appropriate collection action on all delinquencies.

Note 2: The total amount of tax to be levied is assessed bi-annually in December and April when tax payments are due.
