Nobody can avoid the Destiny. It’s not possible even to those who know it.
With the blessings of the Saints our evil fate may get postponed but later on it has to be endured, it can not be avoided. Because what even the Gods couldn’t be avoided, how can that be possible for the common people?
Bhog Prarabdh (Destiny) through the medium of Chitta (heart, emotions) makes use of the mind; and thus a situation suitable for the destiny arises. Let us assume that each one in the family is suffering pains from one person. Even though the pains are due to one particular person, still to suffer such pain is part of destiny of every member of the family. Principal reason of this is that justice of Ishwar (Al-mighty) is appropriate and accurate. ‘Noone will get punished unnecessarily’ is what our ancient Shastras have said about Ishwar’s justice and it is the truth. In the system of Almighty nobody gets punished or pampered unnecessarily.
Now if it is true that the suffering is outcome of one’s own faulty Karmas and that it can’t be avoided, then where is the question of remedies in such matters? Of course there can not be any remedial measures over Bhog Prarabdha. However in the ancient Shastras some remedies are there. Human sufferings are divided in two types, 1- Bodily sufferings & 2- Mental & emotional sufferings. Regarding body by nutritious food, exercise & Ayurvedic medicines. Where as for mental suffer-ings only the thoughts of penance, religious rituals, Shanti Karmas, chanting of mantras only are mentioned. I at least have not found any mention or use of cur-rently suggested measures like Tantric rituals, use of the various stones & gems, charmed objects, Kalasarpa yoga etc in any of the ancient Shastras.
In our Graphic System, the rule itself is that ‘if an undesirable event is to happen in life as per Destiny, it happens only in the unfavorable Gochari (planetary transits), while desirable destined events in life happen only in the favorable Gochari (planetary transits).’ Which Gochari is favorable and which is unfavorable can be decided only with reference to a person’s horoscope, because same Gochari proves favorable to one horoscope but unfavorable to other. No planetary transit can be unanimously called good or bad. Therefore Gochari is not independently favorable or unfavorable.
In the Panchang good & bad days are mentioned. It doesn’t mean that on a day good according to Panchang nothing undesirable will happen in the world, or on a day mentioned bad in the Panchang nothing good will happen. Unless Panchang mentioned good or bad day is related with a particular horoscope, till then it will be of no use to the jatak. In our auspicious day’s category in Bharat, ‘Three & Half Muhurtas’ hold special place and are utilized for the good social or personal cause.
However it doesn’t happen that all businesses started on these muhurta succeed.
Such standard muhurta day can prove unfavorable for somebody as per his horo-scope. Of course this doesn’t mean we do not trust the Panchang muhurta. These prove useful for jobs of public nature.
Thus you must have now understood that whether planetary positions are
good or bad is different according to different horoscopes. The Graph is nothing else but the chart showing which period is favorable and which is unfavorable as per Gochari (transit of planets) to a horoscope according only to rules and meth-ods given in ancient texts of Jyotish Shastra. Such favorability and unfavorability for a subject comes according to the horoscope of Jatak and Gochari. We will definitely get to know the favorability and unfavorability of planets with the help of Graph.
The good or bad influence of Prarabdha (Destiny), which is impossible to be known by any other means, can be guessed by Graphic Method.
For example, we get inspired to do some project, or joining a job, or thinking of marriage. ‘Such urge doesn’t get strongly activated just at any time.’ Behind it also there is influence of Bhog Prarabdha (destiny) only. In any of the above mat-ters ‘if there is favorability in our destiny & something good is to happen’ then this urge, through the medium of Chitta(heart), arises exactly in period favorable as per Graph. Not only that, same destiny is reason for proper circumstances to occur, &
only at such time we feel like doing related things and we do these. This has been proved through investigation and research of innumerable cases. It is found up to 90 per cent that in such cases, because destiny intends well, all the related jobs have taken place only when planetary positions, that means Graph was favorable.
Conversely ‘if the Destiny intends to give the sufferings’ then situation ex-actly opposite to above has been observed. Only when planetary positions i.e.
Graph is unfavorable we get encouragement in that matter, feel to do that, getting appointment order of job, submitting the project, hold talks about marriage, mar-riage hall to be available all such things happen only during unfavorability of plan-etary positions i.e. Graph and through this only destiny accomplishes its aim. It means such things are got done from us during period of unfavorable planetary positions i.e. when graph is unfavorable, and in future in that subject we get big failure, big sorrow. This matter also can be known in time with the help of Graph. In other words, from the Graph this can be known to us in advance as a matter of a guideline.
That is why I want to say here that “whenever we feel like doing something, a convenient situation shapes up in support to our feeling, we feel that right time has come to do something as per our opinion, then after examining exactly that period in the Graph, we get the glimpse of intention of Destiny for that subject. This very valuable thing can be seen with the help of the Graph”. According to that we can take important decision whether to continue with our persistence or to leave it, and can be able to give a turn to that damage or harm. It is better that wise people think of this seriously.
Now what is meant by ‘to give a turn to the damage or harm’? Because I am sure there will be question in your mind “if the Destiny is unchangeable, then how are we going to use this?”
We take actions according to our nature & motivation. We definitely have authority and freedom to change the Karma (these actions). The Ishwar has given us intelligence, memory, & ten organs to act and to gather knowledge for this only.
By using these faculties only we can accomplish even the greatest self-interest in human life i.e. searching the path of Mukti (liberation) and to walk towards that bright ideal. The God has given this great gift so that we can use this at least from worldly point of view, decide what is right and wrong and live the life. Appropriate use of this gift is the real remedy. In a particular subject or work if we know favorable or unfavorable influence of Prarabdha, we at least will surely be able to modify & curtail our expectations. With this even if Destiny remains unchanged we can accumulate the favorable to our account. The cause of the human intelligence is to perform the holy deeds so as to change the future nature of our Destiny.
For example, suppose there is a project of cost Rs 10 Lakh. But if the Graph is showing some negativity then we can rectify the situation by reducing the size of project and reduce the losses, change the date of start, or change its commissioning date. Similarly acts such as to change the date of reporting or to change the job, to perform marriage in favorable period of Graph or to look for another match are the remedies which are in our capacity and authority.
To understand all this, I am presenting here a recently happened example.
Since Graph rules have been given earlier in many article, I am not repeating here. To tell in one sentence, it can be mentioned that the Graph proceeding gener-ally upward from left to right is favorable & Graph genergener-ally descending downward from left to right is unfavorable. On the computer monitor, favorable is being seen in Green color & unfavorable in Red color.
In 1999, a major political change has taken place in Maharashtra. (Note- This article was published in GRAHANKIT monthly in 2002), In what manner the Graph has taken note of this can be understood and also can see what will happen in future. The complete meaning of this discussion should be searched in this ex-ample. My main purpose here also is to demonstrate how the Astrology can be useful from the guideline point of view instead of prediction.

The above Graphs have been drawn on the basis of the birth time horoscope of Shri Vilasrao Deshmukh for subject 33- political work. He became Chief Minis-ter on 18th October 1999. In the above Graph No. 33, this date is in the downward line formation, clearly showing that he doesn’t have favorable planetary support in his current political venture, also he may face problems from his opponents, due to which the acquired position will not last for full term or for long.
Remedy- Instead of 18th October if he would have taken the oath during 23rd to 30th October which is favorable in Graph, this situation would not have faced these problems.
The next Graphs are drawn for the Congress Party for subjects 33 & 40. The day on which Congress had offered Chief Ministership to Shri Vilasrao, as per the arrow mark in the Graphs, show that even Congress doesn’t have favorability in the Graphs. Hence the repercussions were obvious.
It means that because the work was done on a bad day, it has compelled these changes. If this work would have been done 1st November 1999 onward when the
Graph was favorable, Congress would have not faced the problems.

Inference of both the Graphs shows that Shri. Deshmukh will not be able to complete his political task & will get defeated by the opponents, which actually has happened.
The next Graph is related to the current political situation which we are aware of. Congress accepted the name of Shri Sushil Kumar Shinde, so he became the next Chief Minister of the State. Now let us investigate the related Graphs of Shri Shinde & the Congress Party and try to understand the inference from the Graphs, in other words from planet positions. Arrow marks the date when he became CM.

The above Graphs are for political work(33) & political opposition(40). There is favorability in both the graphs on this date of change from which it becomes clear that this is good from the point of view of the Congress party and that this decision about Shri Shinde is right for the party. This means that ‘In these two Congress Graphs earlier (in 1999) there was unfavorability, in a way it is remedied by this change and this is going to be beneficial for the Party.’ This change in favorability of Graph is the best remedy over unfavorability at the time of earlier decision.

The above Graphs belong to Shri Sushil Kumar Shinde. He became Chief Minis-ter in January 2002. Since the Graph 33- Political work was favorable on that day, that is why he has succeeded well, & in this connection in future also there should be no difficulty in future political work to be good. However in his Graph 40-political opposition, there is some unfavorability, since there is Step-Down. This means in future his opponents in future can win over him. This we will get to see in future.
Actually in our method we always avoid to make predictions for future. I have explained the reasons of this through various written articles. I believe that Jyotish Shastra is not of predicting future, but of providing guidelines for way of life.
Above examples show as usual that the inferences of Graph come correct. If a person can make inference about destiny then he can make improvements in his life in many ways and succeed in making his life happier. The destiny is a governing system created by Almighty. In this system there is destined provision of knowing what is right and wrong, and there is opportunity for correction & rectification. I think this fact is of a vital importance. By knowing this we can be able to improve our Sanchit and future destiny.
This is how we can take caution before taking decision, or can have inference about already happened incident, and take action in time.
From the Congress Party’s 1999 Graphs, the Party could have understood from Graph the faults in the decision taken then and could have rectified those. In place of 18th October 99, they could surely have come to know from Graph when that decision should be taken.
Shri Vilasrao also by referring to the Graph could have taken precautionary
measures in regards to his opponents having upper hand over him, or at least take care that he himself does not prove cause of it.
Shri Sushil Kumar Shinde, taking note of unfavorability in his Graph 40- po-litical opposition, should take due care about opponents and try for successful governance. Regarding same, Congress party can take precaution that in next one and half year, machinations against Shri. Shinde do not harm interests of the party.
Even bigger advantage is that unfavorable time periods can easily be made available by the Graph in advance; it gives us opportunity of timely rectification to our problems. If it is understood from Graph whether decision taken by party or government is in the interests of people or not, then what more will an astrologer or society want?
If only social benefit which can be accomplished by this kind of guidance from Graph is taken into consideration, then it will not take much time for you and me to realize the importance of Graph. Graph in due course of time will prove its own importance. We have no doubts about it.
